THE MYSTERY OF THE HAPPY-SAD MAN

Not everyone knows the struggle of hiding behind a smiling face,
The struggle for a happy life can be much compared to that of a rat race,
You smile to let people think all is well,
The slightest privacy you get makes you quickly crawl back into your shell.

The welfare of others are much more important,
Trying your best all the time to make sure you're gallant,
Helping out the world with motivation and humor,
Silently wallowing in the pool of sadness and getting drunk in it to stupor.

The tears burn like wildfire,
Laughter drought on the face of a sad liar,
Sincere to the happiness of everyone,
Insincere to self by faking all the fun.

The wages of sadness is depression,
Depression so explicit in the form of demention,
People would only remember the happiness,
No one would ever know what it felt like hiding away the absolute sadness.
