WISHES: HAVE YOU EVER?
Have you ever longed for great affection?
Undiluted without cobwebs as decoration,
No hypocrisy mixed with excuses on the go,
Just pure affection like the morning dew on the low.
Have you ever wished life was fair to you than it currently is?
Everything easy and opened without you blaring out hisses,
Vindicate every wrong done against you without being partial,
Free for you with opportunities without looking up to anyone to be casual.
Have you ever imagined what it'd be like not to lose your loved ones?
People you know you wouldn't hesitate to take a bullet for over and over not just once,
The ones that see through you even in your darkest hours,
The very ones you trust wouldn't say never until they've tried their best and ran out of powers.
What's life without thoughts and wishes?
A soul without thoughts and wishes would end up falling prey to numerous ditches,
You're either a thinker with a high sense of execution,
Or just a mere wisher lacking the element of composure and brisk motion.
