"Cal, are you sure 'bout this?" kinakabahan kong tanong nang pumasok ang kotse niya sa malaking gate.
"Just relax yourself, Sean" he glance at me with a smile plastered on his lips as he parked his car in front of their house.
Kinakabahan ako sa gagawin niya. He want to introduce me to his family---as his lover.
We've been in relationship for almost 5 years. Our gender is no hindrance to our relationship as long as we love and we have each other, it doesn't matter.
It's kinda weird, I didn't consider myself as a gay--- it happens that I'm falling deeply in love with Caleb, so as him.
Kabado parin ako habang naglalakad papasok ng bahay nila. What would be their reaction if Caleb confess about our relationship. I have a guts that they'll laugh at us or they will be disappointed.
They think us as a bestbuddy or brother for almost 5 years. Ano nalang kaya ang masasabi nila?
I don't want to ruin their family's reputation, that's why we kept our relationship in private. But Caleb wants to end out private relationship, gusto na niyang ipaalam sa mga taong nakapaligid sa'min ang tungkol sa relas'yon naming dalawa.
"C-Caleb? What if ayaw nila? What if tututol sila?" I asked.
Napahinto siya sa paglalakad at humarap sa'kin.
"Sean, if ayaw nila ehdi 'wag. It doesn't matter, hindi nila hawak ang puso natin. If tutol sila sa relas'yon natin, it's okay hindi naman masisira kung anong meron tayo. Ipaglalaban parin kita."
I stared at his handsome face. How lucky I am to have him in my life. We've been experienced different circumstances in our 5 years relationship at lahat nang 'yon ay nalagpasan naming dalawa, no wonder our relationship became stronger after facing those battles.
And I'm hoping that this one won't ruin of what we have.
"Oh Sean! Tamang-tama may kaunting salo-salo kaming inihanda. Akala ko hindi ka sasama kay Caleb." Tita Amelia greeted me with her cheerful smile.
"Ma, why didn't you tell me that we have a visitors" Caleb's irritated voice butt in.
"Kasi alam kong hindi ka pupunta" Tita Amelia glared at him.
"Kuya Sean! I'm glad to see you. Kamusta kana?" Emil--Caleb's sister greeted me.
"I'm okay Mil! Ahmm... anong meron?" I asked while glancing at the visitors seated in the dining table.
"They are the Reyes Family, business partner ni Dad and they come along here for the arrange marriage"
My eyes widened as I gave her a questioning look.
"No, mali ang iniisip mo. Hindi ako ang ipapa-arrange marriage kundi si Kuya Cal" she said while pointing Caleb who look so frustrated.
I felt a sudden pain in my chest. I stared at the woman who has a pretty good looking face. Siya ba ang ipapakasal kay Caleb?
I sat beside Caleb and forcing myself to eat. I already lost my appetite after what I've heard.
"I don't want to get married, Pa" Caleb's voice broke the silence.
All eyes on him. While me? Hiding my trembling hands under the table. Sobrang lakas ng kabog ng dibdib ko.
Is he going to tell them about us?
"We're already planning about the wedding---"
"I'm in a relationship for almost 5 years and I'm sorry if I didn't tell you about it. It is rude to my partner if i will marry this young woman here. Ano, ipagpapalit ko nalang ang 5 years relationship namin sa isang arranged marriage na kayo lang naman ang makikinabang?" Caleb said in a formal tone.
