I AM BEAUTIFUL
Maraming pares na mga mata ang nakatingin sa'kin habang ako'y naglalakad sa hallway. Wala man silang sinasabi ngunit kitang-kita sa kanilang mga mata ang pandidiri at pangungutya.
Napayuko nalang ako nang makasalubong ang iilan sa mga magagandang estudyante rito sa campus. Pinasadahan nila ako ng tingin mula ulo hanggang paa, I can't help but to feel embarrassed.
"Why can't you do some skin routine?"
"Try this product!"
"Try this one, in just 3 days your pimples will be heal"
"Try to cover your face with make ups!"
I choose to ignore their suggestions. I have tried lots of products but all of those doesn't work, mas lumala pa nga.
"Ryzza, subukan mo 'to para gumanda ka" one of my classmate said.
"Oo nga HAHAHA! Para gumanda ka naman kahit papa'no!"
"Oo nga! Ang sakit mo kasi sa mata"
"E try mo na'to. I'm pretty sure na gaganda ka sa product na'to"
"No thanks. Maganda na ako" I said confidently.
Humagalpak naman sila ng tawa.
"What's funny? Dahil ba sa sinabi kong maganda ako? Yes I am. I am beautiful, you have a problem 'bout that?"
"Sira ata ang mata mo" saad ng isa, pinipigilan ang pagtawa.
I chuckled. "It doesn't mean that i have pimples and such, I didn't consider beautiful? I am beautiful in my own unique way. Kung mukha ang basehan n'yo ng pagiging maganda sad to say na ang mga mata niyo ang may deperens'ya."
Natahimik sila sa sinabi ko.
"Yes, I may not be as clear skin as you are but I have a good heart and personality that makes me more stunning than you. At least I didn't discriminate someone because of their imperfections. At least i didn't cover my face with make ups just to consider myself beautiful. Good personality is better than pretty good looking face. I hope you have both." As i say those words I turned my back at them .
So sick of this people around me
I am beautiful, why can't they see?
Clear skin are the basis of their beauty.
People nowadays,
Pretty face are more important than personality.
How ironic isn't it?
You gain respect if you're pretty.
Ignore,
If you're ugly.
But,
Girls don't be insecure.
You are beautiful.
We are beautiful despite of our imperfections.
We may not have a clear skin but we have a good personality,
That'll consider ourselves pretty.
Pretty face is everywhere
But,
People who has good personality is rare.
I am beautiful despite of this pimples and acnes I have.
I am beautiful because God created me.
Girls,
We are BEAUTIFUL in our own unique way.
Maganda tayo as long as wala tayong tinatapakan na tao.
Be humble.
Heads up and face the world with your brightest smile.
End your insecurities now.
Hindi basehan ang pagiging maputi at makinis para ika'y matawag na maganda.
Always remember that;
Beauty will fade away
But,
Good manners and personality will stay.
