Chapter 3

Becky pov
Me and Venti made it to the winery which was very awkward since Venti wouldn't leave my side and he would tell the rest of the guys that im his and the conversation just kept on getting awkward.

"We know Venti shes yours but who knows she might not always be yours" Diluc said and he looked at me but i looked away.

Venti tensed up by what Diluc said and he changed his mood to his normal childish mood "Hahaha she will never leave my side, trust me on that" Venti said as he gave a mischievous smile at Diluc which apparently Diluc got mad.

Everyone noticed how tense the air was right now "Let's get back to Mondstat, we already discussed about Dvalin so now we can head back" Jean said as everyone nodded but Venti and Diluc didn't leave each others eyes.

"Maybe Becky would love to hang out with me?" Diluc said as he was about to grab my hand when Venti came in front of me "Shes not going anywhere with you" Venti said as he grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him.

"Lets just go and eat some food Paimon is starving" Paimon said as her and Aether started walking with jean, "Lets go Becky" Venti said as he pulled me towards the direction to Mondstat.

Venti hasn't said a word since we left the winery so I decided to finally speak to him "Why are you so quiet now?" I asked as he looked at me which now his face changed and now he was the regular Venti "Im kinda tired i guess" Venti said as he scratched his head.

"Don't lie to me" I said giving him a mad face which I hate being lied to "Im sorry, Diluc took it too far which got me very mad" Venti said looking at me and before I knew it Venti was resting his forehead on mine.

I couldn't help but notice how cute he is just by closing his eyes which I couldn't help but blush at his sight but I realized his lips are close to mine.

He opened his eyes and looked at me for a few minutes and then he looked at my lips and he couldn't help but sigh "You have such an affect on me" Venti said as he got even more close to my lips.

"You have no idea how much I wanna kiss your soft lips" Venti said as he looked at my lips again and I kept on blushing hard in front of him.

All I knew is that I need to stop this, I can't let him get close to me i don't want to be heartbroken so I decided to back up "We should just get back to Mondstat" I said as I started walking and I could feel that Venti seemed confused.

Venti started running behind me as he grabbed my waist "Why are you ignoring the fact that you love me back" Venti said as he examined my eyes "I..... I just.... You wont understand why I won't let myself love again" I said looking down as he put his finger under my chin.

We just looked at each other and he hugged me and I hugged him back "I won't hurt your heart if that's what your afraid of" Venti said as he brushed my hair out of the way.

I don't why know but I feel like I can trust him on that but im still gonna try to be on high alert still, boys these days say sweet things to a girl but break them, Venti seems very sure about what he said to me just now.

"I am sure about what I said and I promise you that I won't hurt you even though i have no idea what happened to you in the past, I still wont hurt you and that's a real promise" Venti said as if he read my mind.

And he just smirked at me "Come on lets go to Mondstat" Venti said as he leaded the way to Mondstat, we walked in silence but it felt nice having someone to walk with that actually loves me.

We arrived in Mondstat and Jean said she already has a house for me which i thanked her many times and she said its no problem but its a big deal for me.

Venti didn't leave my side and he decided to live with me since there's an extra room and I couldn't disagree since hes gonna bother me until I say yes.

I decided to go to sleep since I was very exhausted for this stressful day even though i barely came to Mondstat today and there's already drama which I can get used to.

Venti came in my room while I was getting ready to go to sleep "Venti get out don't you see im getting ready to sleep" I said as I pushed venti out of the room "Sorry, I just came to say Goodnight" Venti said as he stepped forward.

I couldn't help but blush that he was coming closer so I had to say something or else he wouldn't leave "Ok well you said Goodnight already so Goodnight see you in the morning" I said as I closed the door fast just in case he stopped the door, I just decided to sleep already.

I woke up which I hope it isnt late since today I actually want to go explore around Mondstats region and meeting new people but that is if Venti will let me.

As I tried to get up an arm was wrapped around my waist and I started screaming as I saw the persons arm around me and it was Venti, Venti got up and took out his bow "What happened? Are you ok?" Venti said as he aimed at everything in sight.

"No everythings not ok since you had your arm around my waist and how did you get inside i thought I locked the door?" I said as he lowered his bow and he scratched his head "I have my ways Hahahaha" Venti said as he started to laugh.

"Well anyway good morning" Venti said with a smile "Good morning" I said back as I got up "Can you leave the room please so I can get ready" I said and he nodded as he left the room and I got dressed and got out of the room as I saw Venti playing some music.

I couldn't help but listen which the music is really beautiful and calming and I just stood there until he finished.
Once he was done I came towards him and i sat down next to him "Your really good at playing" I said "I am the god of wind and Lord Barbatos" Venti said "So your the god of wind?" I asked really curious.

"You haven't heard of me?" Venti asked "I have its just that lord barbatos disappeared a few hundreds of years ago and everyone thought he left for good" I said "Yeah well I had to explore the world for those hundreds of years but I returned not so long ago so what are you gonna do today?" Venti asked "Just to explore Mondstat and meet new people" I said "Ok well I-" Venti said as I interrupted him "I know your coming with me" I said as he smiled.

"Good, now lets go" Venti said as he grabbed my hand and headed towards the front door as we came outside everyone was already busy "Aren't you gonna visit Dvalin?" I asked as we walked towards the main gate "Yes which is where were going last" Venti said and I just nodded as I felt the wind blow my hair softly.

I could feel Vent's eyes on me so I turned to look at him "You really are beautiful" Venti said and I just smiled at him as we crossed the gate and we just started exploring our surroundings which this feels like were already a couple but right now its just me and him and nothing can ruin this beautiful moment.
