Venti has found his princess

Chapter 10

Venti pov
Its been just a few hours since we came to this village and I couldn't stop thinking about what that guy said Am I really putting Becky in danger? Should she be with me? I just couldn't stop thinking about Beckys safety.

Diluc even beat me to get to her first and he fought the guy Razor for me and he said I was being useless during that fight and I can't help but agree with him on that, I was being useless and now I feel like taking Becky with me was a bad idea.

She almost got hurt twice during this adventure and it barely started a day and a half ago which it was starting to become sun down and I just sat on a tree looking up at the sky thinking what would Diluc do if he was with Becky.

I know I shouldn't say or think that but I have to be honest what would he do? Is my question for him but as I look down Becky is talking to Barabara and Noelle as she is laughing and she looks beautiful just by looking at her.

She said she loves me and after that I couldn't help but stay happy those few hours but now I am questioning if im even good enough for her or if ill ever be good enough for her.

"Hey you bard come down here" Diluc said as he looked at me but I just jumped off and walked towards him "What?" I asked which Diluc barely talks to me and especially he never talks to me friendly.

"You know I didn't mean what I said to you a few hours ago" Dilcu said sitting on the grass and I just sat down on a log "Yeah you did which your right I couldn't even protect Becky from those small wolves back there" I said looking at Becky laughing with the girls.

"Does it really bother you what I said?" Diluc said "Or did someone else say something to you?" Diluc asked and I couldn't even look at him even though he already knows that someone already did tell me something as I hear him sigh.

"You know I don't deserve her" Diluc said "You want her too" I said looking at him "I do but Im not fully a god like you because your an anemo god and I have no idea what god I am" Diluc said as he just looked at the sky.

"I don't even know how im a god which I don't even think I am a god but it still pulls me towards Becky which I need to find out which god I am" Diluc said as he looked at me.

"Im just saying that you can have her" Dilcu said as he stood up and looked at Becky "Won't you need one too?" I asked as I looked at him "I guess yeah but shes all yours and I can tell she loves you a lot because if she didn't then she wouldn't let you kiss her" Diluc said as he waved bye to me.

He wasn't wrong but if shes gonna be mine then I will have to do it right and wait for the opportunity to ask her because we barely know each other and I don't want to rush her so from now on i will just have to take care of Becky but even more now.

Becky pov
Me and the girls just started to make jokes and we just said goodnight to go to sleep so we can head off to our next journey tomorrow which I was starting to find Venti to go to sleep.

But I couldn't find him anywhere which I started to get worried as to where he went earlier, "Im right here beautiful" Venti said as he smiled at me and hugged me from behind.

I couldn't help but feel comfortable and safe in his arms which then Venti turned me around and placed a finger under my chin "Lets go to sleep" Venti said and I just nodded as he took my hand and lead me the way to the bed.

Once he was about to open the door a loud noise came from one of the windmills nearby and Venti immediately opened the door and put me inside.

"Stay here" Venti said and I nodded which of course i didn't want to leave him alone to fight but i had to listen to him because hese almost 2 days I've been getting in danger too much.

So I just had to stay inside and hope everythings alright and that Venti won't be hurt which I decided to watch from the window which nothing bad can happen when looking through the window.

I couldn't see anything but fire on the windmill and I saw barabara and noelle fighting together to beat some monsters but I couldn't see Diluc or Venti which finally I started to get even more worried.

I tried the other window and thank god I see Venti and Diluc trying to fight off some monsters and Venti looked away and moved his head telling me to back away from the window so I listened to him and backed away.

30 minutes later

Its been a couple of minutes now of me sitting on the bed and I really wanted to check the window but I couldn't I needed to listen to Venti but the sound of screaming stopped and I didn't hear anything from the outside.

Which made my stomach get butterflies, im hoping there all alright when I heard the door open and saw Venti standing there looking around for me "Beautiful are you in here?" Venti said as I decided to run up to him and hug him.

He hugged me back and he smelled terrible but i didn't care Im just glad hes alright "Everythings ok we fought off the monsters" Venti said as he looked at my face "You could of come inside faster you know, I worried myself too much" I said looking away.

"We had to talk to the village leader, Im sorry I didn't come sooner" Venti said as he turned my face to face him and he kissed my cheek which I just looked away.

"You could go clean yourself, you smell terrible" I said looking at him as he smiled "I don't smell that bad" Venti said smelling himself "Yes you do" I said pushing him away.

As he grabbed me and hugged me from behind as he kissed my cheek again and he chuckled as I squealed a little "Can you at least go clean yourself so we can sleep" I said looking at him as he kissed me one last time before leaving me on the bed.

I just waited on the bed waiting for Venti to come and get on the bed with me and sleep already, I was falling asleep as I closed my eyes and I felt really cold when a few minutes later I felt super warm.

I couldn't even open my eyes and see if Venti was here but I just decided to fall asleep right now, I felt a little kiss on my forehead as I fell into a deep sleep.
