Jungkook took a deep breath and walked outside. The ambulance already left, which meant that the girl was really sick. He shook his head, he wanted nothing more than rip his head off and play football with it. He almost destroyed his business, his second home, and he won't forgive that.
He pushed the man who was trying to stay conscious, at the feet of a policeman. "He's the dealer." Jungkook spitted the words.
"And you are?" The police officer asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Jeon Jungkook. I'm the boss around here."
The policeman's mouth dropped open. "Like in Jeon the senator?"
Jungkook shrugged. "He's my father."
"What happened?" He took a note pad and started writing down his statement. He had to make sure he got all the facts correctly. One screw up and the captain would have his badge.
"This nobody came into my club and started dealing. He sold the drugs to the girl that was just taken with the ambulance."
The policeman looked at the beaten up man. "You did this?"
"Allegedly." Jungkook wasn't about to incriminate him or others. He handed the officer the file from Yoongi. "You have here the proof of what I said. I hope you do a thorough investigation and punish the guilty ones accordingly."
The officer hadn't miss the threat in his voice. His words meant that the man was guilty and he wanted him in jail, no questions asked. "Will do." The officer said before leaving.
Jungkook sighed. It was easy for him to get what he wanted. Once his name was spoken, he had everyone in his pocket. His father practically owned the police. Of course the officer wouldn't have ordered a search in his club, but he couldn't risk it. His phone start ringing.
"Can you explain what the police is doing at the club, and why a girl was taken with the ambulance?" His father voice came steady, but he could sense that he was about to lose it.
Jungkook took a deep breath and explained the situation and what happened. "He brought drugs in my club. Father, I want him punished."
"And you don't have anything to do with this?"
"I may be a brat sometimes, but you know how I feel about drugs." Every person who was close to him knew. He couldn't stand the sight of drugs, or even the word itself. His childhood friend overdosed and it wasn't easy for him, or his parents.
"I know son. I'll handle this."
"Thank you father." He ended the call and looked at the sky. He hoped his friend was in a better place. Losing someone you care about for something so insignificant like drugs, there were no words to describe. The pain, the feeling that he could have done something more for him. He was only fourteen when it happened, he was only a child. The reality of his friend's choice punched him in the face.
He lost it himself. He lost the grip to reality and the guilt that he could have done something and he didn't, drove him to the point where he didn't care about himself. He drifted into the darkness for years, much to the disbelief of his parents. He had it all, and he exploited that. He started drinking, fighting with everyone he met. His parents understood his pain, and tried to help him the best they knew. Their relationship was great, they took their time, supporting him, trying to bring him back on the right path, without judging him or pushing him away.
At some point, his father lost his patience. He punished him. He was allowed to go to school and then come back home, as in terms of money, he had lost his daily allowance. Of course that made him even more angry and he retaliated. He broke the windows of a store and he ended up spending the night in a prison cell. Another well deserved punishment from his father.
His parents were sad, angry and heartbroken that he lost his purpose in life, and the people he had in his life, the circle of so called friends, didn't have their good intention at heart, he could see it now. One day, his mother had decided to speak to his friend's mother. She told her about her struggles with him and her fear that he would end up dead. From alcohol to drugs, it didn't seem like a very long road in her opinion, not the way he was acting.
His friend's mother came to talk to him. She spoke to him for hours. They shared memories, and their love for the person who left them alone in the world. She told him that his friend wouldn't want to see him on that destructive path he was on, that he was looking after him from the sky. That was a wake up call. She made him realize he had so many things to live for, and that many people cared for him.
He made sure to support a local foundation that was treating drug addicts. He didn't want someone else to go through what he had to go through. The members didn't knew why he despised that trash, only his parents. It was his secret to take to the grave. Meanwhile, he tried to make sure his new found brothers weren't going to extremes. He hated when the people he cared about were hurt. He felt the need to protect everyone.
There was also another secret he kept from them, everyone except Jasmine. When her relationship with Jin came to light, he offered her money to leave him. He wanted to test her love for him. He offered her over two million dollars. To his surprise, she said something along the lines that he could shove them where the sun doesn't shine. She even slapped the hell out of him, then she started on a word vomit that made him smile. She truly cared about Jin.
And now Sophia came in. He didn't want to deal with her, he even ignored Jin whenever he tried to use him against her. Jungkook didn't knew her, he couldn't hurt her or take her side, he didn't really care much about it. She wasn't in his section to start meddling in her life. Now that she helped him, he reconsidered her existence. First, she had to pass his test.
Jackson stopped his car near a lake. The girl in his right, was grinning. "We did it babe."
Her voice irritated him. "We did nothing babe." He spat the words out disgusted. "The police did not searched the place."
"Yeah, but sure it ruined their night." She was smiling, thing that pissed him off even more.
He was angry that his plan backfired, and now he had to deal with the most annoying woman he ever encountered. He looked at her disgusted, she wore a black dress that was clearly two size smaller, her breasts were almost getting out. She had too much makeup on her face and the red lipstick did not suit her.
Without thinking he compared her to Jasmine. She was beautiful and gracious as a swan. She had never overdone it with make up, and her clothes were always on top. Even her curly red hair, was never out of place. Sophia was the same, genetics he thought.
The girl leaned closer to kiss him and he rolled his eyes. Like he would ever give her his precious attention. He let the rage consume him. The last thing he wanted was to go home upset and hurt Jasmine even more. He doubted her back wounds were completely healed.
"Sorry baby girl. I'm in a hurry." He smashed her face to the dashboard. He got out of the car, dragged her outside. "You did well. You planted the drugs and they won't trace it back to me."
Her eyes widen. "You used me." She said through tears.
"Duh. How stupid can you be? Lucky for you, I have to go, so you don't get to experience my gentle touch."
