"Open your eyes," Nick whispered.

I inhaled deep breath and opened my eyes.

But there was nothing. I turned my head towards Nick and saw him having a gift box in his hand.

An ear to ear grin was making my lips curve upwards.

"This is a gift from three of us," Nick murmured.

"You, Ash and?" I questioned.

"Sam"

Dylan didn't send me anything.

He handed me the gift and I pulled it's ribbon to open the box.

"My phone's screen. #RIPScreen ," Ash cried.

I kept the gift box on the table and said "I warned you before."

"What do you mean by I warned you? You can't throw my phone like this," he debated.

"But I already did."

He picked up his phone like it was a rare diamond and kept it on the table.

I shifted my attention towards Nick who was waiting for me to say something. His gaze made me nervous.

"H-Hi," I stammered.

This was all that came out of my mouth.

"How's your leg now?" He questioned.

"Better than before. Did you face any problem in coming inside my room?" I interrogated.

"No, Why will I?"

"Because of Jack," I added.

"I didn't saw him. Don't know where he is?" Nick reflected.

"Where Jack can be then?" I asked out of worry.

"Toilet," Ash replied, staring at his phone and mumbling something.

"Oh"

"Yeah" Nick took a pause in between "Bella, I am sorry".

"It's ok but why are you apologizing?"

"I shouldn't be angry on you for not supporting us. We are strong enough to handle this matter ourselves. And also he is a Bully but still your brother," Nick explained.

"Thank you for understanding me," I said, my lips curled upward in a wide smile.

"We are friends afterall. We should understand each other."

I nodded and lowered my head, looking at the bedsheet.

"Am I ugly?" Nick asked.

"No. Why are you asking me that?"

"Because whenever we talk. You rarely look at my face, most of the time you are busy staring at the floor and now bedsheet," he explained.

"I feel a little shy," I reflected.

"Only in a front of me."

I chewed my lower lips. I was smiling like my cheeks will get torn away. My vision stuck to the bedsheet.

"J-Just you," I answered in a soft voice.

I bit my no more long nails and my cheeks flashing red, don't know for which Goddamn reason?

"Don't bite nails. It's a bad habit," he said, changing his soft voice into stern.

Do he needs to speak it now?

"I was --"

"I am alive," Ash announced, appearing from no where.

"We all know that."
