"I died to a truck named 'Truck-kun' and maybe an insane barista? What the actual fuck."
Amara Paice was an average, anime-loving child. Or as average as a child can be when most of her town avoids her because of a birthmark on her shoulder that she...

"Big Sister!"
A small sharp yelp entered the room, as a small girl — no older than four — ran into the room. Her snow white curls bounced as the small girl leaped onto the twin bed pushed into the corner, landing on the hunched form laid in it. A sharp wheeze came from under the blanket but that didn't stop the girl from grinning brightly at the bundle under her.
"Sachio." The bundle complained, exhaustion in her voice as she pulled the blanket from her head, irritation clear in her stormy eyes.
Sachio only grinned down at her big sister, green eyes bright as she swayed back and forth. "You said you'd do my hair this morning!"
Luna Brisa groaned at the reminder, her six year old body curling further into her blanket. Six years. That's been how long she's been engrained into this world. And she was only able to live two of those years as an only child before she was forced to clock back into her big sister status.
It was ironic. Almost.
"Can't I do it tomorrow?" Luna mumbled into her pillow and Sachio frowned above her.
Sachio was her little sibling, one of them at least. Her parents had twins after her. Sachio and Chiyo. The little gremlins.
Luna's eyes adjusted to her dark room enough to see the very dramatic pout of the girl who had woken her up. Her eyebrows furrowed, watching the girl before turning to groan into her pillow.
"Fine! Fine. I'll be in the bathroom in a minute." She murmured, just loud enough for the girl above her to hear.
Sachio's face lit up, a small squeal leaving her lips as she scrambled off her sister. Luna watched with amused eyes as the small girl darted to the bathroom, not wasting a second.
She huffed as she slowly sat up, wincing as her limbs erupted into aches from training the night before. Naruto. That's the world she was reborn into. It felt like a sick joke at first. She had landed into the one fictional world she would sit dreaming of for hours before her death. Being forced to leave everything behind for this new life.
It almost felt too good to be true. If she forgot about the family she left behind.
Her family wasn't perfect. Far from it. But it was hers. Something she protected day in and day out. But now she was here and dead to them. It was easier to process that now, but there were still times where she'd flinch at the words daughter or sister and remember how those words once sounded from Zack's lips.
Her mother always gave her a concerned look whenever that happened but Luna couldn't seem to care when the guilt almost felt like she was suffocating.
Luna huffed, exhaling those thoughts as she begrudgingly pushed her blankets off of her. Thinking about it wasn't going to help.
