Marceu came about 20 minutes later. I wasn't planning on sleeping until I have someone on my side, but now that he's here, I don't think I'll be able to do that. He's a busy person. One minute he's here, one minute he's gone.

Now that makes me feel horrible. I don't want to steal him from his patients.

"It's okay. I have free time." he then flashes a smile.

I sighed and closed my eyes. There's no way for me to turn him down when he uses his weapon against me.

The other doctor walks up to me and offered his hand.

"Hi! I'm Dr. Quentin Lehmann, your neurologist. Dr. Desmarais has exclusively requested me to read your EEG result so I went here for the formality."

"Pleasure to meet you, Dr. Lehmann," I replied while shaking his hand. He smiled and faced Marceu once again. That took for a couple of minutes.

"Since your EEG recording came out, I'm gonna go now to analyze it. I will inform Dr. Desmarais once I have the result." he tapped my shoulder. "You don't have to worry about anything, Miss Mandeville. However, if the result came out abnormal, I'm sure Dr. Desmarais here will attend to it immediately."

He clarified to me the MRI result just so I can understand it better.

"I'm going to sign your discharge papers now but unfortunately, my patient is coding and I won't be able to see you out. We'll see each other later, okay?" nagmamadali niyang sinabi bago kumaripas ng takbo. Seems like that patient is in a critical state. Even I feel anxious.

Moments later, another doctor came in to notify me about my discharge. My body will succumb to my bed once I'm home and I wish I could stay in there for a very long time.

"Is there anything you want to do when we get home?"

"Good timing, Mom. I was just thinking about sleeping. I will sleep for as long as I want to." I retorted and she laughed.

I wish I could do something to relieve their pain.

"Traffic collision. Who would know that these innocent kids will face a traumatic incident in their lives? They're too young for that," she clicks her tongue while shaking her head. "That being said, your sister will be very busy for the next couple of hours. She's spending the night with us. Her parents are busy people that they couldn't even buy time to bond with each other."

Wait me at the lobby, I'll go get the car."

Seems like it's his patient's family. And by the looks of it, he delivered a devastating news.
