"You know what happened earlier this morning? I bumped into a strange old woman with her ragged clothes on and such. I was gazing the rising sun when she said something funny. She said, "You are just like me on my younger years; carefree and beautiful." Then I replied, "Hmm, and then?" as I moved my eyes to her. Then a second later as she stared at my face, she said, "I take back my words," and left me all alone on the bridge. I don't get what she was pointing out by saying about taking back what she had said," I narrates to my friend just as I come in the office.
"Girl, you shouldn't have concerns about people like that. You always bump on them anyway, so be matured and accept that your resting-bitch face will scare people because they thought you aren't sincere enough by putting your face on them. Move on, girl," she says and puts a pat on my shoulder before she proceeds to the comfort room.
