As Sam pulled out of the parking lot, I glanced out the window to see Sophia and Angelina turning the opposite direction of us.
I wanted to talk to her, get to know her more than I already was. I wanted to take advantage of my time with her, because I knew every minute was crucial, but I also didn't want to take away her time with Angelina.
I feel like everyone can sit here and read that I'm not acting like my normal self, but I don't know what to do in this situation. It's been almost four years since I was in a relationship, so of course everyone around me and all of our fans are used to me being the "hot single guy".
It's very hard to sit around on a daily basis and know that if another female is shown around me, within two seconds people can find all of her social media and information. What I want in life is to be able to be happy, I didn't want to put anyone through that. It just feels like nobody understands that I truly feel alone at the end of the night.
My head rested against the window as I sat in the back seat of Sam's car, watching out the window as everything in my vision flew by. Outside of my friends, everything in life felt temporary. Money doesn't make me happy, belongings don't make me happy. My friends make me happy. My family makes me happy. But Sophia? She makes me feel something completely different than I'm used to.
When we got home I quickly got out of the car and jogged up to the front door and pushed my way inside, going straight up to my bedroom. It hasn't even been that long, not even an hour, and I missed her so much. She was basically a stranger to me still, but my mind was absolutely wrapped around the thought of her. What is it about her?
I closed my bedroom door and walked over to my computer to sit down and attempt playing a game, but as I went to sit down, I noticed Sophia's camera was sitting on my desk. I put it back into its case and unlocked my computer to see the files were still up from Kevin editing. He had the first episode for the vlog ready, but the files that were currently up were from her camera. I can't lie, I was curious, simply for the fact she told us not to look at anything else. I knew better, though. I took the SD card out and put it in her camera bag and zipped it shut.
Figuring I should let her know about this, I decided to FaceTime her and use this as an excuse just to see her face.
After a few rings she accepted the call. I gently took my bottom lip between my teeth as I saw it change from 'ringing...' to 'connecting...'.
"What's up guys, it's Sam and Colby here!"
I panicked. I didn't know what to say. A simple "hey, what's up?" could've worked, but here goes my dumbass overthinking and making a fool of myself.
"Brock, I am really going to need you to refrain from doing that when I have AirPods in." She said, her eyes rolling. I know she was joking about her actions, but I was generally loud when it came to that phrase. I felt a little bad. "Oh god, I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay. But I haven't been gone that long, you know." She looked down at the screen and you could tell that she was busy focusing on me.
"I know, I know, but I have a valid reason for bothering you already!" I said, shooting my hands up in defense. "Colby, Colby... calm down! And you say that like it's a bad thing. But forreal, what's up?" She asked.
She looked down at her phone one more time, and I couldn't help but flash a huge grin as I watched a smile form on her lips. All she had to do was smile or even look at me, and it was endgame. I felt like I was completely wrapped around her finger.
