I went downstairs to see Angelina who I haven't seen since we showed up here last night. I did feel bad for not hanging out with her, but my time with Colby was so worth it. As much as we hang out back at home, getting any chance with him was necessary. Neither of us expected anything to happen, but neither of us know what will happen from here. It's a good situation in my book, but also a confusing one as well.

I had on a pair of joggers, a red tie dye crop top, a black hoodie tied around my waist, and my hair up in a messy bun. Ready for the day? Kind of. I was hungry more than anything. It was already noon and I had no idea what the plans were for this morning before we left for the ranch.

I decided to leave the room with my items to take in a backpack on the overnight trip to the ranch. I packed accordingly to how Colby told me, so in that case I figured I was good.

The living room was my destination to leave my bag by the door so it wasn't forgotten.

"There she is!" Kat called out as she walked into the living room. "Oh hey Kat, how was the movie night?"

"Don't even ask. The guys picked all night and we only watched action movies, so that got a little boring. But the food and snacks you and Angelina bought definitely kept some of us going. Anyways, come into the kitchen, we're trying to figure out where we're gonna have breakfast before you all go to investigate!"

Kat grabbed my hand and ran towards the kitchen, practically dragging me in there where everyone was circled around the island talking.

"Guys, I found Soph!" She said as we walked in. I flashed a smile at Angelina. "Hey guys. Sorry I missed movie night, but it sounded... boring."

"Woah, take it back!" Jake yelled out as he hit his hand of the top of the counter.

"Action movies are not my thing, Webber."

"Oh yeah, then what is good to you?"

"Horror, a mix of romance and comedy, and Christmas movies. Me and Colby watched Halloween last night." I said, shrugging my shoulders.

"I'll take it, for now."

Tara used the back of her hand to hit Jake on his chest. "Stop bothering the girl Jake! You're just mad that three out of four of us here weren't into it."

"Well, at least Angelina was on my side!"

"He's right." She threw her hands up in defense. "Sorry girls!"

Sam walked into the kitchen and I suddenly froze. I wasn't sure how to act after he opened the door and walked in on me and Colby. It just felt awkward, so I turned my head to the side as he joined the conversation.

"Brother, woah!" Corey exclaimed.

"Soph, what happened to you?" Tara asked.

This entire time I was standing in the kitchen with them, the side of my neck where my hickies were - weren't in view. My hair being up didn't help either, but that wasn't something I thought about either before coming down here.

Colby walked into the kitchen, finally, and everyone in the kitchen broke out into "oohhh's".

"Oh great Sam, you told everyone?" Colby asked, pulling his hood up onto his head.

"I didn't say anything brother, everyone just saw Soph's neck." I turned my head to look back at Colby and mouthed a "sorry."

"Tell us about what though?" Jake asked.

"It doesn't matter." Colby said, pushing his hoodie off of his head. Maybe he didn't want me to alone in this, because the hickies on his neck were now open to see. "Where are we going eat at?"
