There is no manual on how or what you are expected to feel. No specific guide on how to tackle life's ups and downs. 

People might try to tell you how to feel, react to situations within or outside your control especially when they aren't walking or haven't walked in your shoes. Don't bend.

Don't give in to the pressure of putting up a facade, wearing a fake smile as if everything is alright when it's not. Fight against the urge to retreat into your shell at the first sign of distress. Try to reach out to the right people. 

Don't force your laughter, don't hide or invalidate your pains, they are a part of you. Everything will not be good but you can try to see the good in everything and it will eventually get better.

This is your race, yours, not theirs so cry and laugh at your pace. Keep your head up, falter but rise. Walk slowly, then run.
