Chapter 20 : Love maze.

He said "if you want" so for me, it's a « yes ». I'm going to have my first time with him, as I've been dreaming about for quite so long. This idea soothes me, I feel better and, yes, happy. I hope that the opportunity will come soon.

We come back to Korea and it's already time for Jin's birthday. I sometimes feel like time is running out at high speed and there's nothing I can do to hold it back. It's dizzying, like a big, disturbing whirlwind that takes us away.

We wonder what we could do for Jin's birthday. Yoongi offers to ask him what he wants, quite simply. Jin replied that he would like us all to go cycling together, along the Han River; on his birthday. We all agree, what a great idea ! Hobi and Nam Joon prepare two backpacks and we all leave on the cold night of early December. Jin seems very happy, I'm happy too because he's important to me. Tae leads us zig-zag on the wide deserted way. He lets go of his handlebars and pretends to fly. Jimin follows him by singing Hip-Hop Lover, which we all sing up loudly. I laugh so much at Nam Joon pushing his voice in such a funny way. I drive close to him to look at him, he winks at me. I know he's happy because he loves riding. Hobi is at Jin's side and Yoongi is the last one, two meters behind us. He moans that his ears are bleeding by butchering the song.

We all put on gloves, hats and scarves, but cold still stings my nose. Anyway, I feel like we're all doing well at this very moment. We just won a great award for taking off our career. Pressure is easing a little. We're enjoying this timeless evening. I pass Jimin and propose to Tae to race to the bridge. Here we go ! We pedal like crazy. Wind slaps us but it's too good. I feel alive. We hear Jimin cheering us from behind. As usual, I want to win so I give my everything in this race. But Tae doesn't let it happen. We arrive at the bridge at the same time, but I say I was the first. Tae obviously protests and when our brothers join us, I go on teasing him. What a big joke ! But Jimin tells the truth by congratulating us both.

Nam Joon offers to take a break. We all gather around a wooden picnic table. Hobi and Joonie take the bottles of Soyu and cupcakes out of their bags. Yoongi puts a candle in a cake and light it. Then, we sing for Jin's birthday. He beams, his beautiful smile makes the moon shade. He bends down to blow his candle out but Tae also bends over, pretending to blow it out before him. Jin moans with a laugh. Tae does it each time, for each birthday. We don't even know if it's still funny, or no more. Jin finally blows it out and we all applaud him, by congratulating him. Jin says "thank you guys, I'm happy," and we can see it's true.

-Thanks you, Jin. I know you're going to tell me it's not true, but I don't care. You are very precious to us and I am sure we would not be here without you.

Yoongi speakes. I admire him for summarizing in a few words what I have always thought. It could have been moving, but, of course not, because Jin is yelling in his loud, funny voice. Yet Yoongi and Nam Joon go on cheering him. A real comedy act between them. My older brothers, I love them so much. We all laugh. Jimin and Tae fall off the bench. Hobi claps his hands. I hold my ribs looking for my breath.

Yoongi poors our glass again and we cheer Jin up again. Then he has to make a wish so he concentrates, like a little boy, for ten good seconds.

-What is it, what is it, what is ??? Jin, tells us what your wish is ???

We burst out laughing again. Tae is incorrigible. Nothing stops him, never.

-I want you to take off yours shoes in the apartment ! I want Yoongi to watch movies with me til the end ! I don't want Jungkook to leave his stuff all over my bedroom ! I want Hoseok to stop giving me dark gaze when I'm wrong on stage ! I want Nam Joon to write me a song ! I want Jimin to spend less time in the shower !!
