I run through the woods, racing back to the house. I had just killed, so my adrenaline was high. I bust through the door, laughing. I look up and see no one.
"Guys?" I call out.
It must be a prank. I think.
I run through the house, calling names, searching; but find no one. I find myself, in the living room, sliding down a wall, crying. I hug my knees close to my chest, and plant my pace down. I stay like this, sobbing for I don't know how long, until I hear a familiar voice.
