"Look , maybe if you listen to me ,Umbridge will go easy on you," Draco begged.

I was in the Slytherin common room with Draco. And, as usual he was begging me to help Umbridge.

Umbridge knew enough to know Harry was up to something but couldn't call him out for something she didn't have enough evidence to point out, so resulting in this scenario she relied on a group of students to help figure it out with her, Draco being one of them.

Umbridge favored Draco. He had never gotten a detention with her either. She practically praised him.

"Kimmie, come on," Draco begged again.
Obviously I couldn't join helping Umbridge weather I wanted to or not. I was already apart of what she was after. "Draco no," I sighed again as I gave him a sympathetic look.

Draco rolled his eyes as he sat up. "Why not?" "Because! I hate that woman with my life," I protested back. "I would never support any choice she made."

Draco scoffed as he glared harshly at me. "I don't want to see you getting another detention with her," Draco warned as his voice became sterner.

I rolled my eyes at how pushy he was being. "I just don't understand why she thinks you're apart with Potter's shenanigans," he mumbled as he glanced at me.

The sunshine from the dungeons windows shone onto his face, his pale skin glistening with the ray on light. I shrugged my shoulders quickly as I gave him a confused look. "Mean either," I lied to him.

I couldn't help but feel slightly guilty about all the lying I had been putting up with to Draco. But I knew what I was doing was the right thing and not telling Draco was the best option. Him finding out would be a total nightmare and I wasn't up for that.

Glancing up at the clock I realized what time it was. Without remembering Draco sitting right next to me, I fled the room.

"I have to go find Sarah," I yelled across the room as I began to exit through the painting. I didn't look back to Draco as I rushed down the corridors.

Finding Sarah at the end of the corridor, I flashed her a soft smile as I attempted to catch my breath.

"So," she started as she swung a hand until my shoulder. "what's up with you and Acton?"

I furrowed my eyebrows at her. "Acton?" I repeated as Sarah and I walked further away from my common room. She nodded slowly as I looked away from her. "Nothing. He likes Amelia Belle," I mocked as I imitated his British accent. "We were only fake dating you know."

"Okay then," she nodded. "What about Malfoy?" Her face came closer to fine as she smiled up to me, interested with the subject.

I paused at her words to hear the familiar noise I had been hearing everyday for the past few weeks. The Room of Requirement forming.

"There it is," I nodded to the door as it finished forming into its door shape.

Sarah and I practiced with each other like normal. Christmas break was coming up so this was to be our last practice until we returned.

Other than all the Umbridge's chaos we managed to keep all this Dumbledore army stuff pretty under control.

"So that's it for this lesson," Harry started getting everybody's attention. "We're not gonna be meeting again until after the holidays."

Everybody sighed. We were all pretty disappointed. Especially Sarah and I who were shifting back.

It was Christmas time in both realities , meaning we didn't want to miss Christmas back in our current reality.

"So just keep practicing on your own as best you can," Harry continued. "And well done, everyone. Great , great work!"

Everyone started to clap loudly.

Sarah and I exited the room of requirement. We turned a corner making sure nobody could hear us.

"Alright so we're shifting back for Christmas right?" I asked Sarah.

"Right," Sarah continued.

"Time pauses this time unlike last winter break so we won't miss anything here," I stated.

"Yeah , you're right," Sarah smiled.

"We're spending Christmas together in both realities," I added happily.

Sarah smiled at the thought. "Pretty cool if you asked me."

I sighed as Sarah looked over to me. "Christmas isn't going to be the same though."

Sarah furrowed her eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"Corona," I groaned. "Christmas's different this year. Our friends were supposed to come. We've been planning this since forever but thanks to corona large groups of people are banned."

"Well why don't you just invite Jason? It could be you , him , and me?" Sarah suggested. "We all know Jason would like that."

I laughed.

"Yeah, maybe," I agreed.
