True to his word as soon as I started to shake and shift in my sleep Sokka was gently shaking me awake. It hadn't quite got to the point where I was covered in sweat or close to tears but my breath was uneven when I opened my eyes. I looked up to see Sokka still holding my shoulders and giving me a worried look. But a frown grows on my face when I notice the small dark circles under his eyes.

"I hope you didn't stay up all night for me," I say, my eyebrows pushed together in worry.

Sokka just shakes his head at me with a small smile, "I got some sleep, don't worry." I look at him sceptically, "I went to sleep, woke up and I couldn't get back to sleep that's all. Nothing to worry about." I nod my head but still hold the same look of worry in my eyes.

Soon everyone was awake doing their own thing. Katara was reading, Sokka was sharpening his club, and Aang was sitting with Appa's reigns leaving me to do my own thing. I, of course, had no clue what to do with myself so I just ended up looking over the landscape and thinking about what I had seen that night.

It wasn't like the other dreams I have had. Last night reminded me of the dreams I got before the North Pole, like a memory. I had many dreams that night flitting through my mind's eye. One thing really resonated with me. It was a face. They were smiling at me with this infectious grin and their eyes sparkled in such a way that told you that you could never be sad with this person around. I was thinking about this face that brought on a feeling in the pit of my stomach. I couldn't tell what it was. What is it with me and not understanding my emotions?

"Hey, you taking us down for a reason?" Sokka asks Aang bringing me out of my thoughts and back to reality. Aang doesn't seem to hear Sokka, though, like he too was in a world of his own. "Aang, why are we going down?" Sokka asked this time raising his voice again.

This seemed to snap Aang out of whatever was happening. "What?" He asked not seeming to notice what was happening around us. "I didn't even notice."

"Are you noticing now?"

Katara joins Aang and Sokka near the front whilst I watch from behind, "Is something wrong?"

"I know this is gonna sound weird, but I think the swamp is... calling to me," Aang confesses

Sokka obviously doesn't take it seriously, "Is it telling you where we can get something to eat?"

"No, I-I think it wants us to land there."

We all look over the edge to see the dark waters below, hidden by the shadows cast by the branches lazily hanging in every direction. "No offence to the swamp, but I don't see any land there to land on," Sokka tells us.
