"This is my fault.." Jackson softly spoke, sitting next to me.

I wiped my tears for the tenth time as I stared at our daughter breathing through a vent. She was overall healthy but her lungs were 100% yet.

"You think?" I snapped. He snapped his head towards me, offended.

"Hold on.."

"Did you ever think about the stress you caused me when I caught you, again? I almost had a miscarriage."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I couldn't even look at you, let alone talk to you. There was no way I wanted you holding me after you had your hands on her. I thought about that everyday."

"Ba- Sage, it's been eight months.."

"So I should just be over it?!"

"I'm not saying that, but maybe don't throw it in my face when our daughter needs us."

"Get out."

"No. I'm not leaving."

"Get out!"

"Hey. Calm down, honey." Callie said, quickly walking in the room.

"Jackson, maybe step out for a minute.." he went to protest but she shook her head.

Huffing, he looked at me again before walking out. She closed the door behind her, coming to my side as I burst into tears.

"Hi!" Arizona beamed, coming in.

"How are her labs?"

"Calm down, mama. Let's talk about you first."

"No. I want to know about her."

She stared at me for a couple seconds then nodded.

"She has not improved. They will use a different method of treatment which will likely help her."

"Who are they?"

"Dr. Romero. He will be replacing me as her doctor. Don't panic, I can assure you he is a great doctor."

I nodded, unsure since I hadn't heard of the man.

"Let's talk about you." She tapped the tablet a couple times.

"You, ma'am, suffered a uterine rupture. You lost a lot of blood.."

"Uterine rupture.. do I still have my uterus?" She laughed.

"Yes, we didn't do a hysterectomy so you have your baby making materials. Your incision has healed properly so, again, I am ready to discharge you."

"What are my follow-up rules?"

"I don't have to tell you that, surgeon. However, you can not lift the little princess for 8 weeks."
