"I know you not trying to pull up on this bed to stand at no 8 months Rosé." I said calling her by her middle name.
She stared at me goofily trying to pull up on her crib.
"Give me this," I said taking the pacifier from her. She blinked hard as if she was trying to roll her eyes and turned her whole body away from me.
"I don't care," I said as I laughed at her silliness.
Khalil had been gone for hours setting up everything at his gym and making sure everything was in place. Some of his equipment wouldn't be here for a few weeks but he was having a grand opening with or without.
He was in a rush to do something productive. Since he left the fast life, he had been trying to find work nonstop like putting his time into the house snd taking care of me while I was in the hospital.
Now that Sayori was here, there wasn't much he could do besides take care of her and that wasn't enough for him.
He didn't like sitting at home doing nothing all day. Being on the go was a part of him and letting go of that stuff would take some getting use to.
"Cmon tinka butt, let's get you wiped down and dressed so we can go see daddy." I said lifting her into my arms.
I removed her semi wet diaper and grabbed a few wipes cleaning her lady parts and wiping all the drool from her chest. I wiped under her little under arms and wiped her face down before getting an actual baby cloth to wash her face properly.
I took out a sparkly onesie that read "I get it from my daddy" and a matching tutu and some socks because I knew she would just kick her shoes off and they'd be misplaced somewhere.
I put a bow on her head and then I stuffed her bag with more pampers and formula along with a few clean bottles. She already had a blanket and a bib inside so we should be good to go.
I picked her up kissing her juicy jaws and strapped her into her carseat pulling the hood down before walking downstairs.
I filled Louie's water bowl and his food bowl up in case he decided he wanted to eat. He had been sleeping majority of the day and he hadn't went in his diaper but two times since he got home.
I didn't know whether to be worried or not— but I assumed that it was just side effects of the medicine.
I texted Kahlil to let him know I was on the way before locking up and going to the car. After getting Sayori situated— I put the door on child lock and got inside pulling off.
"We gone be with dada soon baby," I said into the camera as I watched Sayori's lip quivering.
She definitely needed to get out of this spoiled stuff before she started walking— and I'm all for it but I know for a fact that Kahlil gone be advocating for the opposite side.

"You look so sexy baby and I love how we're matching," I said cupping Ari's behind.
"Thank you pooh," She said glancing at Sayori.
"You should've did the catering thing, I'm hungry."
Today was the grand opening of BodyWorks and people were already starting to crowd around the building. We planned to cut the tape at seven and it would be open to the public from then.
"I told you but nah you swore up and down we shouldn't because of the mess like we couldn't get someone to help clean up." I said shaking my head.
"No I didn't feel like we should be buying up food for the whole nosey ass city, folks gone be showing up just to eat and not to get a membership."
I laughed at how mean she was. She didn't care whether we had the money or not.
"It's ten til so we can go eat afterwards."
"Ok," She said walking to the door letting Harmony inside.
"Hey big bro," She said hugging me before she sat down in my chair. She was staying inside to look after Sayori.
"Hey sis where Melo?" "At the door waiting for you," She said bouncing Sayori. "Welp that's our cue. See you in twenty," I said as laughing.
We were only staying behind to cut the ribbon, after that we were dipping and management could handle locking up. I didn't start until the following day.
"Bet."
Me and Ari walked to the front hand in hand pushed our way through the door that was crowded with people standing in front of it.
Melo started to cheer goofily followed by the rest of the crowd. I lowered my hands initiating that they needed to quiet down.
"Welcome to my first business ever. I'm very thankful that you all are here tonight to help me celebrate," I said looking down at my phone.
"With that being said... hand me the scissors," I said to the mayor. Johnny had been an amazing realtor so far doing way more than what he was paid for. I'd have to hold on to him.
"Nigga no you gotta say a few words," Melo said earning a laugh from the crowd. "Boy, I got a baby that needs to eat, y'all can do all that I gotta go." I half joked.
The mayor— a black man named Jefferson, handed me the huge scissors and I reached out for Arielle's hand to assist me.
"5, 4, 3," The crowd started to count down. Me and Arielle opened the scissors and cuffed them around the ribbon patiently waiting for one.
"2, 1," A snip sound was heard and cheers as well as everybody pushed past us and barged inside. Melo slapped my back approvingly and made his way inside as well.
Johnny and the Mayor came over to congratulate me before leaving— then Arielle jumped into my arms hugging me tightly.
"You did it Joe," She said kissing my lips repeatedly.
"We did it." I said chucking at her silliness and grabbing her hand. We went back inside and got Sayori— sneaking out the side of my office.
Even though we didn't hire the caterer— there was still refreshments to be enjoyed. My employees would be spending their evening giving tours and helping potential members fill out applications.
"I'll see you there baby," I snickered kissing Ari's lips. We were going home to drop her car off and then we were gonna find a spot to eat at.
"Ok," She blushed as she got inside the car. I looked down at Sayori who stared at me lovingly and made faces at her.
