"Yes we in the parking lot about to go in now," I said over FaceTime with Skylar.

She had her phone hosted up showing off her two piece swim suit along with her beautiful baby boy— Harlem. Her long weave flowed down her back effortlessly.

She was living her best life.

"Alright well thank you for checking up on me, we'll call later to talk to the girls. Probably around eight since you said they all staying up at the school to watch Sayori. Well never mind I keep forgetting they got their own phone,"  I nodded in agreement. "Girl same here I stay forgetting that Sayori got one but ok I'll check back in soon. Tell Mer he ugly and Jai look like you and nothing like him." I teased. "Don't do my baby," She laughed flipping me off before she hung up.

"Come on they in there waiting." Khalil said grabbing his briefcase. I grabbed my purse and phone stepping out the car.

I hardly came here since the incident and I didn't plan on coming back at all but some things you just couldn't avoid.

Khalil got out the car slamming the door and we walked inside without saying one word to one another. He was upset because he was late and it was unprofessional on his end.

We have four kids that we're taking care of at home so prepping them— getting them breakfast— and sending then off to school is a lot.

I can admit that I didn't have to proceed to make things worse by calling my friend to check on her but he also didn't have to be dramatic like he didn't own the business.

In my defense, I didn't expect the call to last the whole ride here. I'll take the blame but it isn't all that deep. When we got inside we went straight into his office. My anxiety was through the roof but I wouldn't show it.

"Hi Alex I'm Khalil the CEO and this is Arielle Mrs. CEO aka my wife." He greeted the woman shaking her hand. "I do apologize for being late," She stood from her seat, "No it's fine it's nice to meet you both."
