"I'm sorry I've been neglecting y'all but a lot has been going on and I just be needing time to think." I said honestly.
I was currently locked away in my YouTube room trying to run up the time on a video so I could put out some type of content. I had been on and off of Youtube for some time now. I had been neglecting all my socials big time and it wasn't fully intentional, I was going through a lot. It was gonna take some time to get back into it all but I knew that I needed to start picking up the slack. I was under contract and this wasn't exactly good for business.
"But on another note, this custom black and white squiggly backdrop was made by @Ashanti267. She always makes my backdrops for me for free so it's only right that I throw in some promo." I said pointing behind me. "Y'all go check her out she's also a small black owned business so support. Her channel will be in the description."
"Thanks for watching, until next time." I said placing my hand over the camera.
Just then I heard small knocks on the door. I didn't have my do not disturb sign on the outside so it was one of those days where it was okay for them to interrupt me and I didn't mind having them on film. Normally when I was filming I'd have it up and they'd know that mommy was busy and I'd get back to them later. Considering how private I was, I rarely ever showed their faces while I was doing content, but on occasion I would.
I walked to the door and unlocked it letting Lathan inside. "Hey baby," I said lifting her up. "Hi mommy can we go swimming pwease," She begged clasping her hands together.
Lathan was only in daycare three days out of the week so she was often here and bored without her sister during the other two days.
I made up different ways to keep her entertained while she was homeschooled, but as a toddler she had a big and growing imagination so she got bored of things fast.
She learned how to swim as a baby and it stuck with her up until now and it was something that she loved doing but we didn't always have the time to take her out back and actually supervise her.
"Yes baby go put your swimsuit on and come back to meet with me." I said seeing her face turn into a big girl. "Yay! I come back mommy," She exclaimed running off to her room. "Ok baby." I said laughing at her excitement.
