Khalil woke up to get his wife an edible arrangement and her favorite variety of colorful roses. He was now in the kitchen laying out the breakfast he had gotten catered.

He felt so guilty he didn't know what to do with himself.

Sayori was still upset with him so he planned to spend the day with her to make it up to her. He had a lot of making up too and to his wife, it would just come off as nice gestures.

He decided not to tell her and cut all ties with his receptionist.

He couldn't fire her without things looking suspicious and he didn't know if she was malicious enough to rat him out to his wife so he'd just keep his distance.

He thought of ways to blame his wife for cheating like the fact that she mentally hadn't been the same since she had kids, or dealing with the postpartum for years at a time was too much for him and pushed him to the edge— but he'd just sound stupid.

There was no way to get out of this one but he couldn't lose her so he made sure he didn't.

He had never lied to her but he would be doing it now and for the rest of their lives.

As selfish as it sounded, he couldn't bare seeing her face after finding out he had cheated on her especially after claiming that he was different. How could he cheat on someone he begged to be with— someone he waited years for.

The sad part about it is he felt no remorse while in the act. It was easy for him to cheat, drunk or not. One attempt to stop it was the best that he could do. He only felt guilty after the damage was already done.

He allowed another woman to have power over him after he read off from a long list of vows to his wife.

Their anniversary had just passed and they spent the night in pure bliss just for him to go make a very idiotic decision based off emotion.

Now the mistress would have the chance to laugh at her and walk around with her head held high as if she was better than her because she had his dick in her mouth.

At the time, he thought he was just tripping but he should've listened to Melo.

"Good morning beautiful," He said to a groggy Arielle.

She had just woken up to the smell of breakfast and she peed, washed her face and brushed her teeth before coming down.

"Morning handsome," She said leaning up to kiss his lips. "I got all your favorites." He said as she looked at him lovingly.

She was in love with her husband and she was grateful everyday that she let her guard down and gave him a chance. Not only was he her partner— but her best friend. They had a beautiful family and she was genuinely happy.

"I see, are the girls at school already?"

She had slept through her alarm because Khalil turned it off wanting her to sleep in while he took her place for today. He had gotten up early to take the girls to school and to set up breakfast.
