"The thing is... I don't know why I'm here." Naomi said as she folded her arms. "What do you mean sweetie? You're here to talk, that's if you want to." The therapist said as she smiled widely.

Me and Amere saw it best that we put the twins in therapy.

We both personally knew how it was to need and want healing but not have the resources. We wanted them to be able to talk to someone if they were too scared to talk to us.

Just then— my phone rang.

"Well I don't want to and I don't know you like that anyway," She retorted. The therapist looked at me with pleading eyes and I held my hand up exiting the room to take the call.

"Hello," I answered with a deep sigh. "Hey my baby, how is everything?" Amere asked from the other line. "Not good honestly. Nix not saying anything and Nomi not going for it. The poor lady don't know what to do." I said admittedly. It was a rough first day so far. "Well bring them home for today, they can try again tomorrow or something. Apparently Talia turned herself in so we have to make an appearance at court soon." He said as he huffed. "Talia? What about the nigga?" I furrowed my eyebrows curiously. "He somehow fled the scene." "Left his girl beat up without a second look. Ain't that a shame. Alright baby I'll see you soon." I said as I shook my head. "I love you." "I love you too." I said ending the call.

When I walked back into the room— both Nixcia and Naomi were answering questions back and forth.

I cleared my throat and everybody looked at me.

"Mrs. King I think it'll be best if we do these sessions alone. If they were to become uncomfortable we can always invite you back in, but for now, it seems that they're more comfortable without you being here and that's ok." The therapist said smiling reassuringly.

I looked between the both of them and they nodded.

"Whatever is best for them,"
