"Well that's it for today." I said before cutting my camera off.

I had been vlogging throughout the day— but I was now outside of my mother's home.
Today was our monthly gathering. It was a thing my mom started years ago after her and my dad split. She'd invite everybody over and make a big dinner. We'd all check in with one another and just enjoy each other's company.
Everyone that was available had to come.
The only acceptable excuse was work or not being in town of course. I hoped that Khalil had something better to do because I didn't want him bringing Casey around my family. I simply didn't wanna see her, be around her, nada.
Me and Khalil hadn't hung out as much as we used to because of her insecurities and that, pissed me off. She acted as if she hated me simply for being his best friend. Whatever we had going on before her is truly none of her business and we hadn't done anything since or even tried to.
Harmony knocked on the window startling me.
"Bitch, unlock the door," She mouthed. I pressed the button letting her in.
"Hey sissy," She squealed hugging me as best as she could.
