37. mishaps

As the night ceases, Taehyung finds Jungkook calming down, he is still a little bit stiff and cautious but a fucking Minho bomb just dropped on him so Taehyung assumes that Jungkook is doing considerably better.

He is not as tense as he was before and Taehyung thinks that maybe if he just makes it through this night and talks to Jungkook as soon as they reach home everything will be fine.

He stays by Jungkook's side as they go and dance among the plethora of people around them, Jimin and Hoseok are by their side dancing. Yoongi  Jin and Namjoon are sitting by the bar drinking and laughing. 

As they dance more and more Jungkook seems to relax but Taehyung can still sense that a lot of things might be going on in his pretty little head.

Few more dances later they're all tired, "Hyung I'm gonna get a drink, do you want some?" Jungkook asks. Taehyung nods and then Jungkook excuses himself. Taehyung watches him walk off with a saddened expression on his face.

"Trouble in paradise?" He hears Jimin's voice, Hoseok is not by his side anymore. 

Taehyung sighs, of course Jimin suspected that something is wrong, he is Jimin after all.

"Minho was here and I didn't tell anything about him to Jungkook. Minho also said some mean things to him."

"And I guess Jungkook is upset about this?"

"Yeah well, I'll talk to him when we get home," Taehyung utters, rubbing his eyebrows. 

"Yeah talking would be the best, you got this." Jimin gives Taehyung a thumbs up after saying the last part.

Taehyung then turns around the bar to see where Jungkook is and what's taking him so long to bring drinks, but what he sees literally makes anxiety creep inside his bones.

It's Jungkook and he is holding hands with a girl, they're walking towards what looks like an exit.

Taehyung stands there stiff watching both of them, Jimin must sense something that's why he first looks at Taehyung and then towards the direction he is looking into. He gasps, his expression similar to that of Taehyung's. 

Jungkook and the girl stop right before the exit and then the girl leans in to say something in his ear, Jungkook nods and whispers back to her, he even smiles a little..?

"That's it I'm going over there," Jimin announces and starts to storm off towards Jungkook and the girl but Taehyung holds his wrist, "Wait! Just let me-- what is he doing?"

They both look as Jungkook holds the girl by her waist and they walk out of the club. Taehyung stands there, stunned, still holding Jimin's hand for dear life.

His mind runs to places as to what it could be, "It's not-- there must be something--" he tries to convince himself.

"Taehyung, he just left out of the club with a girl! I think we all know what that means."

"But-- he won't do something like that," Taehyung says and then his eyes widen, "Is this because of the whole Minho thing!? What the fuck!?

"Hey calm down Taehyung, deep breaths," Jimim rubs his back when he sees Taehyung hyperventilating into his own thoughts. 

He stares at the exit door, his brain muddled up and chest aching, "Jimin I need to be alone." Taehyung lets go of Jimin's hand and starts to walk away. His capability of thinking has frozen, all the thoughts in his head making him numb.

"Wait, no I'm not leaving you alone." 

"I'm not going anywhere, just outside. Need some alone time please," Taehyung pleads and walks out of the club from the other exit.

When he is out he doesn't stay there, he quickly books a cab and internally says sorry to Jimin. The driver arrives within minutes, Taehyung tells him the address of his and Jungkook's shared home. Home? Home has always been a strange word for Taehyung, it doesn't feel like he is going home anymore. It feels like going back to four walls with a roof to a stranger much like how it felt four years ago that one night when his world crumbled on his feet.

Jimin watches Taehyung leave and then walks towards the bar where everyone else is sitting, Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok all look at him and instantly know that something is wrong. 

"What happened?" Jin asks and Jimin tells them everything, rather spits it out because he is so, so mad at Jungkook.

"There must have been something, she might be Jungkook's friend or colleague. I mean you just saw them walk out of the club right?" Yoongi tries to reason. 

"I don't know Hyung! She didn't look like just a friend to me. And why would he leave then!?" Jimin snaps at Yoongi, it doesn't matter that he sounds rude to his Hyung. Yoongi wasn't there when Taehyung was crying over Jungkook, it was Jimin, it has always been Jimin and he will protect his best friend. 

However Yoongi doesn't seem bothered enough, "Did you care about talking to him? How about you actually fucking call Jungkook instead of reaching to conclusions?!"

Jin holds Yoongi by the back of his shirt to calm him down, Hoseok does the same with Jimin. "Ok, I'll call him but if he even thinks about cheating on Taehyung's again, I'll break his bones as well as our friendship."

My exams are finally over now yay! I wrote the entire book so i could just edit it and post but wattpad deleted it 😠😠 but anyways what is this drama happening?? Do you think jungkook is cheating again??
