A/N: it's actually stress starting a new story lool why's everyone so quiet in the comments yall 😭

TRIXIE'S POV:

Mom, Dad and Levi came downstairs to where we were stood. Dad and Levi didn't look pleased for the most part but Mom wrapped me up in a hug.

"I'm so proud of you, baby!" she squealed "you showed his ass out!"

I smiled at her, laughing as I hugged her back. Dad rolled his eyes and crossed his arms across his chest as he looked at Brooks who was smiling at me.

"You can leave now" he said rudely. I furrowed my eyebrows at him as I let go of Mom.

"Stop being annoying" I said, placing my hand in Brooks'. But he let go of me quickly as my Dad stared at him angrily. He hadn't even done anything wrong for him to be acting like this. He'd never had a problem with Brooks so I didn't understand.

"You heard him" said Levi, stepping forward "show's over, now leave"

"Ok-"

"No!" I argued, cutting off Brooks "he's not going anywhere, can both of you shut up?"

I looked at Mom for support but she was getting a call and had to go into the kitchen. I sighed as Brooks slid his hand out of mine quickly. I looked at him and he gave me a small smile before walking towards the door.

"No, don't go!" I called, running after him.

"Trixie" said Dad, I turned to face him and he shook his head. He was intimidating for the most part but I hated how he always controlled my relationships but left Levi's completely alone.

Brooks walked out the house, closing the door and I frowned to myself. I was planning on inviting him to dinner and speaking to him about the kiss.

"Are you happy now?" I said to Dad and Levi. They looked at each other with proud smiles before nodding their heads at me.

"Why do you need a boyfriend so bad?" asked Levi. I narrowed my eyes at him, walking up to him.

"I don't need anything, you dumbass" I fired back.

"Language, Trixie" said Mom, coming out the kitchen. But she'd missed the whole argument.

"I genuinely wanted to get to know him, is that so fucking bad?" I yelled, walking up to my room before I started doing some dumb shit like crying. I heard Dad calling me but slammed my bedroom door.

I was getting good at that.

MATTIA'S POV:

I sighed as she slammed the door and looked at Liv who was glaring at me with her arms folded.

"What?" I said innocently.

"I leave for two minutes to take a call and you just have to start an argument?" she said, staring at Levi and I "and I bet you got involved again, didn't you?"

I looked over at Levi as she scolded us both and he shrugged his shoulders.

"I didn't do anything, honestly" he lied. I rolled my eyes, walking into the kitchen with Liv behind me. Levi got on a jacket before coming in the kitchen to grab his car keys.

"Where are you going?" asked Liv. He looked at her as if she should've known already.

"I have a date at the mall" he said. She looked at me to say something but I sat there with a blank expression on my face.

"And you're not going to stop him?" she said.

"No?"

"But you stopped Liv?" she said, becoming annoyed again. But I was getting annoyed over this too.

"Can you just go already?" I said to Levi. He walked out quickly, closing the door behind him. Liv came and sat next to me at the table, raising her eyebrows as she waited for answer. I sighed and shrugged my shoulders again.

"She's my little girl, Liv"

Her eyes softened as she reached across the table and held onto my hand with both of hers. That's what I'd always loved about her. She always saw things from my point of view. She was never selfish like that. That's why I married her.

"I know, baby" she said softly "but she deserves to be happy too"

I nodded, she was always right. And I wanted happiness for Trixie. It was all I'd ever wanted to give her in life.

"Just like we are" I smiled, raising her hand to my lips and kissing her knuckles as she blushed. We'd been married for years yet she still blushed the same way she did on the day we met. I let my mind drift back to that one moment I'd forever remember.

I stared at her as she danced in the black dress that defined her figure beautifully. Her jet black hair falling past her shoulders. I couldn't help myself as I stood up and went to dance behind her, placing my hands on her waist.

"You back already?" she would yell over the music. Then she saw my rings before turning to face me.

"I swear I only wanted your number" I'd said with a smirk on my face. But she'd kept her gaze locked on me for a second before slapping me across the face in front of everyone.

I'd never been more attracted to someone.
