MATTIA'S POV:

"I should probably go check on her" I said, pulling my hands away from Liv's. She nodded, standing up too.

"And apologise" she said, playfully punching my arm. I took ahold of it, pulling her towards me. She looked up at me in surprise with her brown eyes. I'd always loved them from the second I'd met her.

"What are you.."

I placed my finger on her lips, staring back in her eyes and enjoying the moment.

"I love you so much" I whispered, using my finger to brush the dark brown strands of hair away from her eyes. She fought the urge to smile as her cheeks flushed a bright red again, only making me fall in love with her all over again.

"You're so lame" she giggled, pulling herself away from me and going over to the fridge. I smiled at her before walking towards the door.

"Mattia!" she said loudly, I turned to face her, clueless as to why she was yelling now.

"What?" I asked, quickly walking over to her. She turned to me, wrapping both her arms around my neck as she moved her face closer to mine.

"I love you too" she said. I rolled my eyes and moved her arms off me.

"Tell me something I don't know" I said, leaving the kitchen as I heard her laughing to herself.

Her laughter was music to my ears.

EARLIER:

TRIXIE'S POV;

I closed my bedroom door and walked over to my bed, burying my face in the pillows as I took a few breaths to calm myself down.

I was so sick of them controlling my life.

I turned on my TV and tried to forget about it before I heard a gently knock on my window. I froze, wondering whether it was an enemy of my parent's. This is exactly why they should fucking tell me what's going on. My whole life was at risk here.

The person knocked again and I reluctantly pulled back the curtain to see Brooks standing there. My eyes went wide as he winked at me.

"What the fuck?" I said, opening the window as he quickly climbed in and landed on my bed.

"I've known your Dad since we were kids, he doesn't scare me, Trix" he laughed, pulling me onto the bed with him. I hovered above him, feeling my cheeks heat up as I remembered our kiss when Jason was here earlier.

"I-I was watching a show" I stuttered, quickly sitting up against the pillow. He smirked and sat next to me, staring at me instead of the screen.

"What?" I said, looking over at him. He reached over, taking a hold of my chin and placing his lips onto mine. I lost my breath for a second or two but then adjusted into the kiss, placing a hand on his cheek as moved closer to me.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, laying me down properly as he stayed on top.

I was never a top. And boy, did he know.

I smiled against his lips as he ran a hand through my hair, pulling away for a second to whisper something in my ear.

"That Kaylee girl has nothing on you"

I laughed, covering my mouth as he smiled at me. I mean, he wasn't wrong. But I definitely needed to hear that from someone. His lips met mine again but this time I didn't want to stop.

But then I heard someone coming upstairs. I reluctantly broke the kiss and Brooks looked at me in confusion.

"Wait" I whispered.

"What-"

I shook my head, raising my hand as I tried to figure out who it was. Then my stomach dropped. I looked at Brooks who was still confused.

"Closet. Now." I said, pushing him towards it. I closed the doors before running back to my bed.
