HENDRIX'S POV:

"Trixie, I said open the door"

She shook her head, backing up against it. I saw the fear in her eyes and it only annoyed me even more knowing who was stood on the other side of the door. I looked at the clock on the wall, tapping my foot on the floor.

"Hendrix-"

"Don't make me do something I'll regret" I said, taking a deep breath as she moved out the way. She walked past me and into the living room.

I heard him knock on the door again and walked over, pulling it open. He looked me in the eyes, tilting his head at me.

"I don't recognise you" he said, sinking a hand in his jean pocket. I stared at him in disgust, wrapping a hand around his throat as I stepped out the house.

"You need to forget about her" I said blankly. He gasped, hitting my hand as if it'd do something. I let go, watching him try to catch his breath before standing up straight again. He narrowed his eyes at me, trying to look over my shoulder and into the house.

"Who the fuck are you?" he said. I inhaled, closing the door behind me. He furrowed his brows, taking a step back and crinkling his nose at me.

"Her fucking boyfriend"

"As if" he said "let me fucking see her-"

I grabbed the collar of his shirt, almost lifting him off the ground as he hunched his shoulders, as he froze.

"She doesn't wanna fucking see you" i scowled, watching his lips starting to tremble "I'm the one who has to pick up the pieces to the heart you broke"

"I-"

"Two fucking years?" I said, dropping him to the ground "she wasted two whole years on you?"

"Look I'm sorry-"

"Don't ever come here again" I said, walking towards the front door. I glanced at him as I opened the door.

"Oh yeah, happy Valentine's Day" I said, giving him a fake smile as I slammed the door shut. I turned the key in the lock and turned around to see Trixie standing there, her arms folded across her chest.

"Extra" she said, walking into the kitchen. I sighed and followed her.

"I'm sorry you had to see that side of me-"

"What side?" she asked, avoiding eye contact "that's normal since we're in fucking mafias"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"I don't know, Hendrix" she said, her shoulders dropping as she leaned on the counter. I walked over to her, wrapping my arms around her and pulling her into my chest.

"I think I'm starting to hate this fucking mafia lifestyle now" she said, leaning on me.

"Welcome to my world" I said, laughing a little. She pulled away, going to sit on a chair as I got her a glass of water.

"I just hate how it's made you so violent" she said, taking the glass in her hands.

"I'm not like that when I'm around you, though"

"I know" she said, tracing the rim of the glass with her finger. I reached out, holding her hand.

"I love you but he needed to hear that" I said.

"I know" she repeated, squeezing my hand a little. I raised it to my lips, kissing her knuckles.

"I love you"

"I love you too" she said, standing up and coming to sit on my lap. I buried my head in her neck, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Don't say too" I said "sounds like you're agreeing with me"

Her cheekbones raised as she started laughing, it was music to my ears. I smiled, looking up at her as she locked eyes with me, holding my face in her hands as she looked down at me. Her brown hair fell in front of her face, gracing my skin.

"I love you, Hendrix Rosario"
