TRIXIE'S POV:

"Can we watch a movie?" asked Daisy as I held her hand. We walked back into Hendrix's room and got into bed as we waited for him to hurry up in the bathroom.

"Of course we can" I said, reaching for the remote to turn on the TV. I opened Netflix as Hendrix walked out with a towel over his shoulder.

"You pick" I said, handing Daisy the remote. I got out of bed and walked over to Hendrix, grabbing his arm and pulling him into the hallway. He looked at me in confusion as he closed the bedroom door.

"Look" he said "if you wanna get dicked down-"

"Shut up" I said "when are your parents back?"

"Uhh not for a few days, why?"

"That's weird, so are mine" I said "they said they had a meeting and some kind of business to attend to"

"So did mine" said Hendrix, shrugging his shoulders and taking my hand "probably mafia shit, don't worry about it"

"I won't, I was just wondering whether I should stay over since they won't be back by morning" I said.

"Oh you're staying" he said, leading me back into his room. I looked over at Daisy who was too engrossed in her shows to pay attention to us.

"Here" he said, tossing me one of his hoodies. I went into the bathroom to get changed, I already knew he was following me "who said you had to wear anything underneath it?" he frowned when he saw me keep my underwear on. I rolled my eyes at him and walked out.

"You're such a freak, Hendrix"

"Yeah but you love that" he said, tapping my ass as I walked over to his bed. I got into the right side of the bed and Hendrix got into the left, leaving Daisy comfortably in the middle.

HENDRIX'S POV:

"Give me the remote, losers" I said, reaching across Daisy to change the channel. I wasn't spending my Saturday night watching kids shows.

"Hey!" she yelled, trying to fight me for it but I held it high up. She stood up and tried to jump for it but she couldn't reach which only made her angrier.

"Daisy be careful!" said Trixie, holding onto her as she moved back and forth "can you just give it to her?"

I looked at Trixie in disbelief.

"I thought you were on my side here!" I exclaimed as Daisy started laughing. I sighed and handed her the remote. She'd be asleep soon enough anyway.

"Okay we're watching this" she said. I watched as she started her show and cuddled up to Trixie.

"That should be me" I mouthed to her, glaring at them both. Trixie smiled and shook her head, wrapping a protective arm around Trixie. I stared at them both as I felt my cheeks starting to hurt from smiling. It was such a perfect moment.

I couldn't remember the last time I was this happy.

"Move your arm, Hendrix" she whispered. I snapped out of it and looked over at her as she nodded at Daisy. I looked down to see she'd fallen fast asleep.

"My bad" I said, moving to my side as Trixie laid her down properly, tucking her in.

"I hope you're gonna be like this when we have our own kids" I said. She lied down next to Daisy before looking over at me with a horrified look.

"Are you crazy?" she said "you'll be doing this shit and I'll be downstairs with a glass of wine"

I laughed at her as I got into bed properly, staring at her with Daisy between us. Trixie reached out and gently brushed the few hairs out of Daisy's face.

"I like us like this" I whispered.

"Like what?" she asked, looking at me over Daisy.

"I don't know" I said "happy, I guess. Not worrying about having to kill someone or worrying about pleasing our parents in some stupid way"

"So do I" she said "I just hate how we've had so many arguments, I hate arguing with you"

"I know but I won't make you mad over stupid shit anymore" I said "you've given me so many chances so if I screw up after this, I don't blame you if you choose to walk out my life"

"No I think I'm good right here, baby" she said softly, reaching over and caressing my cheek with the back of her hand.

It was her. Her touch. It just did something to me that I couldn't describe. Feeling her smooth skin against mine and the icy gold rings gliding across my cheek. She was so perfect, there was no one like her.

TRIXIE'S POV:

Soon enough, we all fell asleep. I thought about what Hendrix had said about us having to worry about killing people. I'd never done that but he had. Yet somehow I was completely okay with it.

It was him. There was just something about him that I couldn't figure out. It made me crave his presence. I felt numb to everyone else apart from him. I needed him in my life, no matter how much of a threat he was to everyone else. He was mine.

Nothing would change that.

I reached over and turned my phone on to see it was slowly approaching 2am. I got out of bed to go get a glass of water since I couldn't sleep.

"No, he already did it"

I stopped in my tracks as I heard two soldiers speaking in a room down the hall.

"He did? Who?"

"Some kid called Jason, I don't know"

I felt my heart beating as they mentioned Jason. It could've been a different Jason but if they were talking about me, it was definitely him.

"He killed him?"

I let out a tiny gasp, covering my mouth with my hand as I backed up against the wall.

"Yeah, he wanted information on Polibio's kid"

"He didn't say shit?"

"Nope, hence why his body's somewhere in the trash right now"

I felt the tears falling down my cheeks as I silently crept back into Hendrix's room. Him and Daisy were sleeping so peacefully that I didn't even bother to wake them.

I hated him, though. I hated him so much for keeping something like this from me.

I quickly took off his hoodie and got changed, wiping my eyes as the conversation kept playing over and over in my head. I wanted to be sick. I couldn't even bring myself toimagine what Jason's Mom was going through.

I hated everything about this situation.
