With stops at Stations like Shreveport ta place updates, ta maps an such fer each new Station or Post or campsite. New bridges an such. This meant I stopped at each Station along Carolina an Bama Ranger command designated route, endin at Fort Sill. Remember folks, heard me complain abouts updates. Rangers find a new bridge or ferry even a Station not on they map, it should be updated fer all nearest Station or Post.

Updates take priority over the law, ifin ya can avoid it. That said most times it can't be avoided, hell ya just might be the only Law fer miles.

Tossed my saddle bag on the bed, plopped down on it. Folks, that bed was comfortable, my felt like heaven soft I sank some in it! Figured best get myself up, hell just sleep ifin I lay here.

Took my guns off all, but my shoulder rig. Tossed my hat next ta my saddle bag, took my badge shoved it in my breast pocket. Looked myself over at the wash stand combed my hair an beard.
