Folks, it took near three months, ta get ta Seminole Land. Why snow, freezin rain, sleet couple blizzards! Folks ya ain't seen nothin like a blizzard these parts. Snow and wind so hard! Why couldn't see yar own hand stretched out! Hell couldn't see it till I touched my face!

Enforcin the Law, slowed me down some also, hell Law must be enforced! Folks I drove on, near froze ta death twice! Horse died on me, lucky they was a town near by, spent the night in a warm room, gots a horse next day.

Snow near three foot deep, whens I left town. Time I made it ta Biloxi, why I was tuckered out. Took me couple days, fer my body ta recover. Folks, I was beat somethin terrible like. No matter, how I wanted ta keep movin, why I just needed rest. Just remember sleepin most that time, in Biloxi is all. That third day I left town, I rode till the next mornin. I wasn't but a day from Seminole Land, ifin lucky not more than that ta Tam.

Folks Tam an her family, lived abouts one day south inta the Wetlands. Found that out at Ranger Station One. Right nice lady was the Station Master. She told me best stay the night, no need a travel in the dark. Folks she was right, they gators here, an snakes! Big snakes, hell they can be huge! Rather it be daylight as ta dark!

She fixed some supper folks, shrimp an grits, fried fish an cornbread. Folks, ya ain't had shrimp an grits, why ya best give it a try! Of course we had an ale ta go with it.

Folks, I tried ta stay near the coast, travel is a lot easier. No heavy tree growth nor swamp ta worry abouts. Besides the breeze off the Ocean Blue, make it much cooler than stuck workin my way through the swamp an tree growth. Folks, when I gots ta Tam's village. It was abouts 4 at the latest. The coast saved me time.

Found Tam, hell in less time than I figured. Only took me maybe ten minutes at most! Folks, when we saw each other, why we hugged an cried some. Then she slapped me! Darn near fell ta the ground it was so hard a slap folks! Folks, this part a come hard. It still pains me ta think on it, like thinkin about Ma type pain.

Don't rightfully know ifin I wants ta talk abouts it! Well think ya need ta know this. Ta see, what happened.

Excuse me, Folks needs ta wipe a tear away. Sorry folks like I say it pains me. Tam, folks, she told me. Well, Common our son. Damn folks, Sam White Hell! Gives me a minute folks. Dear me, folks why he died. Not crib death, no folks! Nothin like that, damn, hell, why! Should been here! Goin ta say that word again folks, Fuck!

Folks, I needs ta cry some, be right back. Have an ale or whisky folks. Sorry folks hope it been ta long, ya see a Conda gots him! Large no huge snake folks. She managed ta kill it, befer it gots him in his mouth all the way. Folks I should a been here ta help! This might not a happened!

Ya see, those conda they ain't from here. They don't know how they gots here! They are more mean than any snake these parts. Hell they take on a gator! Folks my son, never gots ta see his Pa. I never gots ta see him! Stupid pride folks, I was dumb no other word fer it.

Tam let me stay few days. We talked hugged think she needed me as much as I needed her. Abouts a week she told me, I best leave. She loved me, but she say Common ya wouldn't be happy, an I wouldn't be happy. Ya aren't ready ta settle down yet. Be best fer us both ya move on.

Folks we both cried when I left. She was right, I'd get the need ta leave. Ran inta Tam later in life, that is a story fer later. Folks just thought I should tell ya about this is all. Think we talked long nough now. Till next time, ifin they is one.
