Orleans Jacko Part III

Welcome back, good ta see ya! So what ya think folks, will me an Doc figure this out? Well lets get started. Last time, Fred just got in the cab. Folks I sent word fer Doc ta meet me at Morgans. The cab showed befer him, bought the driver a drink, so we could wait on Doc.

Told the driver I wanted him tell all after Doc got here. I would buy him dinner after. Folks Doc showed only few minutes after the cab, we didn't even finish that drink.

This is what the driver told us, folks nothin added I promise that. He say, he took the man ta, Mosser Warehouse number two. The man say, he wouldn't need him any more. Then he say I figured best stay a spell. Ranger ya wanted ta know where he went. Might just find more out. He went on ta say, the fella never came back out, but a lady that had same colored hair came out. She flagged fer me.

Ranger she looked a lot like that fella, only my was she pretty. I took her over ta the Two Sisters, that is an Inn fancy place. Waited few minutes she didn't come back out. Did see a carriage leave from the side the place. Had the Mosser Crest on it though. Thought about followin it, figured best tell ya what I saw. Driver wanted ta go home, I gave him three Lincoln, told him supper was on me, ifin he had a wife ta enjoy they meal.

Folks that was plenty ta eat on, my they probably ate better than they ever had on that! Trinkets don't matter folks, when comes ta catchin this one. Besides he helped more than he was told. Folks this just may turned in our favor. Doc thinks we should head ta the Mosser place. He say I think no I know I am certain. This just may be our turn towards catchin our killer. I think we will find Miss Virginia an Ted at her home in Orleans.

Folks, Doc could be right, my heart was hopin this was near the end. Dear I hope Miss Helen still lives, was my only thought. This must end folks, it just has ta. I can't take much more a this chase. Wish Pa or Norm were here. My they be a big help. Doc say supper must wait finish that drink! We must go!

Folks that cab was waitin he shouted, my supper can wait, ya need a ride ta a place! I shout the Mosser place! Fast as ya can! I mean break every rule Sir! He shouted we are off! As I climbed inta the carriage. Near fell out, we was on the move folks! My mind say this is close ta endin, why hell just felt it folks. My gut told me was all.

Doc looked a bit out a sorts, of course Doc looked that way most times. Hell always some place else a thinkin. Doc hell wouldn't be this far with out him. The cab slid bounced, went every way but straight folks, least ways that is how it felt! Sam White Hell what a ride, the cab slid ta a stop! He shouted the Mosser Home! I'll wait Ranger! I shouted back just stay with carriage uunlessin ya we don't come out! Then best get help!

Folks I felt hot over hot, like ya just knew, thins a go wrong! I felt sweat on my neck, my hands even felt a touch wet. I wiped thum on my pants, an checked the drag on my straight draw pistol. Folks felt like this was over, just felt it was all! Then I felt the calm just befer ya knew ya had pull on man, or be killed! My mind over ruled the fear, me an Doc stood at the door, he knocked I took in air!

Folks Doc say Miss Virginia, how are ya? Folks I say, Miss Virginia,  fred say ya were an hour away, at the Devaroe place! Where is Fred! Folks I felt a might scared at that point! My hand lingered near my 36. Doc say Common lets give Miss Virginia time ta answer now. I say, fine Doc, just want answers is all.

Folks Miss Virginia say, Doc Bellum think ya should explain ta our Ranger, just what is goin on. Oh an Doctor I have my match! Folks, I looked at Doc, his pistol was drawn! I say Jacko, Death, Reaper is ya, ain't it Miss Virginia or is it Fred or Ted? Doc what in Sam White Hell! Is goin on here?!

Folks I have been betrayed by my, good friend Doc! Doc say Common I tried ta keep us on track enough, ta find her or him! I am just not certain on this! Just this person needs my help! Ya decided ta get involved! Common dear friend I couldn't have that! I was contacted by a person years ago when these murders started fer my help!

Then I try and find out who this person is. Ya show up! Common I can't help, but try and figure this out! Miss Virginia needs my help! Please just keep those hands where I can see thum, or I'll shoot! Damn folks, I am had! Do I shoot Doc! No I can't shoot Doc or this person Jacko or Fred maybe even Miss Virginia. Hell I am just about ta say that word folks Fucked, folks just fucked!

I say Doc I won't pull a gun one! I shout Jacko, Death, Reaper! Ya around?! Miss Virginia say I am Jacko, Death, Reaper. I am one in the same! I prefer Jacko! Folks my killer, but I am stuck betrayed by my friend! Gun on me!

That's when Ted came down, Miss Helen bein pushed along! He said Ginny, I gots her we can be on our way!

Folks, Miss Virginia shouted, I am Jacko! Take her ta the carriage! Ya blame servant! Ted say yes Jacko. Doc say Jacko we can all leave, just let the Ranger be! I think we don't need a Ranger dead, that would brin the Lands I mean thum all on us! Folks Jacko just laughed, an say, my Nemesis can live, Oh Common such a different name! Ya never catch us, no never!

Folks that's when, I woke ta the cab driver over me, askin ifin I was ok. Folks what just happened? Doc my friend just let me down! What the Sam White Hell! Someone gave me a mighty thump on the head! Think it was Doc! Damn why? Doc helped me, folks I am just lost!

That driver took me back ta the Inn, folks I needed time ta think! Look over all a Docs notes, I mean all of thum! This has a story behind it! I just know it, need the fog cleared from my head! Then some supper, damn the chase ain't over! Little long winded, best stop here. Folks hope this ain't brought any lost assumptions. Well, till next time, ifin they is one!
