This one, her wrist were slit both thum. Only reason me an Norm think it was same killer, her clothes were folded neatly with her shoes sitting next ta thum. No blood, where they found her. The City Rangers, let us see the place an her body.

Befer they moved her ta the Undertaker, found her down an alley. Warehouse an Manufacturing district, block a Pitch Street an Martin Avenue. Hauser Warehousin, has an alley that, splits they two buildins. Norm figures it happened last night, she was found when they opened fer business at 8 this mornin. They use the alley daily.

Folks, two murders, that are different, but seem ta be the same killer. Within a few days of each other, this got us both ta wanta stay. Norm, only found one thin of interest, a mans handkerchief, it was blue in good shape. Most workin class men, that be in poor shape. The plus it had a funny crest on it. That crest was a pyramid, lookin thin it had founders under the pyramid. Both the pyramid an the writin was in gold. What that means, we ain't certain, City Rangers never seen anythin like it.

Folks, Norm checked at the Main Library, fer that crest or emblem. Library had no such crest or emblem. We been in Orleans or even Charles Town, those store about all the family crests an company emblems, even the one in DC would probably have it. Those three are National Libraries.

Folks they had drawins of the crime scene, that is what they called it. Detailed down ta where the bodies were, distance from any walls an entrances. My goodness the reports were just as detailed.

Both young ladies, were of age one was 16 the other 18. One was married the other Pleasantry girl. The one that was married, was from some wealth, her husband say she was missin when he got home from his office. The sad thin, they didn't catch him. I'll give thum credit though, from the report they doubled the night watch.
Both bodies, were found in the Harbor District.

Folks, we poked around, fer a week askin questions showin that handkerchief, with that emblem. We gots no where! No one saw or heard a thin, well that could a been very few live in the Harbor District, those that do. They won't talk, fear folks they could be next on the list. We tried, I am tellin ya, don't think I ever tried as hard ta find somethin out.
