How ya doin folks? I know ya don't answer, or can't hear me, one the two. Might be I can't hear ya is the problem. Either way no matter. We a go on with the story, here briefly want ta mention a short one, hell won't take but minute ifin that.

Ya see, me an my Momma, we lives in the attic a the White place. One side, was the stuff the Whites stored away, they only used on occasion. The other was where, me an Momma lives.

They was one room, that Momma an that Mister White fella didn't want me ta see, it was a small room off our little place. That was kept locked. Once maybe twice a month, that White run me off; he would have Momma by the arm. Leadin her ta that room. Folks that White, would scare me out our little place!

Mrs White, now she make sure I'd leave fer hour or so, sometimes why she would go with me. Folks, ya askin what happened up in that room. Folks, Momma is dead now, Mrs White is gone also. White let's just say, the Law tooks care him. My Law tooks care a him. He told me once, as youngster my name fit, fer what I was. Folks just Common Law, was what he said.

Was gonna tell another story about Momma, that just came ta mind. Think I am done, with that though, hell it brin a might a sadness ta me. So we stop here. Momma was a good fine lady, she taught me, she tried her best ta take care a me. When we had little ta no food, Momma say Common not much ta eat, always tomorrow. Those nights, they be a few slices a bread an cheese left at the door.

Mrs White, would see ta that, she was a fine lady, her an the White's daughter. Both treated me an Momma good. That Mister White! Hated the man, still hate him, even after him bein dead! Still find him evil an not worth the four lives he made miserable. One day I may get inta more, now isn't the time. Sorry fer that off track thin.

So let's get back ta that Oddity we was a talkin abouts. Folks Kern came an gots me,
Little after day break. I tell him, I saw that light show. I tell him, after I get few hours sleep. I need ta go back out look the place over. Was a might worry some though. Needs a ride back out, after a get little sleep. Kern say take back out when ya want leave. I say maybe 4, that give me time ta set myself up.

Folks didn't want ta say more, than that. Till I know what is goin on, best keep my mouth closed, so ta speak. I gots some sleep, ate a good breakfast after. Kern took me out ta my spot. Tell him, best come back out abouts 9 or so. I may wants ta walk around that monument some after day light. He say, ya know what ya are doin I figure, about 9 then. Take care Common see ya at 9.

Folks set up camp fer the evenin. Took a look see at that monument. I figure just has ta be a touchpad some where's. Folks still could not find one. Figure it's on the blame elevator. Ifin they is one, it is well hid. Folks I looks fer some kinda crack fer that elevator, took some crawlin around. I founds what looks like where the ground opens up.

Folks unlessin ya knew ta look fer it, hell ya never a found it. I jumps on that place, hell doesn't sound open. Maybe it's got ta deep dirt an such over it. Folks then I see this spot that is wore like the rest, why didn't see it befer I don't know.

Folks, that spot I found no clue, a one those touchpad thins. I looked I tried ta find a place it could be hid, nothin I even tried ta push on that large spire type boulder. Hell nothin, this had me puzzled. No outside way in? Folks, that mean this only a way out! I shook my head, paced a bit.

Folks decided, if nothin happens tanight. Well, I'll just stay out here till it does. Curiosity killed the cat, folks all I am sayin.
Decided, plenty a time might just find another way in. Folks they was a mound that just looked out a place, ifin ya know whats I mean.

So, I walks tawards that mound, only bouts two hundred yards. Folks this mound wasn't much taller, than myself maybe 30 foot in diameter, little bigger not certain on it. Just a mound grass covered, guess it could be just a natural thin. Did hear tell of a mound shaped, like a snake in Ohio. That could just be, a wild tale don't rightfully know folks.

Founds nothin, so I figure just wait it out. Ya know wait fer the light show, folks all I could do. I opened can a beef, wonders never cease, it had some taters in it! That was supper folks an a cup a coffee.

Don't know why, folks as I waited I thought bouts Momma. Never seen, Momma worry about gettin nough food, or ale fer us ta have. Like I said befer, ifin we was low. Didn't have nough, an Mrs White didn't help that day. Momma would say always tomorrow, Common.

Yeah, Momma wasn't one ta worry. She always saw the good in people, never say anythin about a person that she didn't know any harm. Momma did the best she could. Pa, he tried ta make me a fine Ranger an person. I think Pa, ya know Chester Howard, even ifin it wasn't my Pa. Well let's say, he was my real Pa, won't go inta more than that fer now.

Like clock work, folks abouts ten, the noise an light show started. I stood an walked towards, what was goin on. I wasn't abouts  ta let this go with out answers folks. I put my Ranger face on, an started that ways!
Till next time folks!
