In the limo...

"Wake up!"

"Huh... what?" I woke up in a panic.

Jess started laughing humorously and shaking her head.

"Have you been sleeping?"

"Ugh, not really. I've been talking to Nikki all hours of the night trying to keep him busy." I rubbed my eyes and sat up. "He's so needy it's annoying."

"Well, have you told him that?"

"No, but I should." I groaned. "I need, I need, I need. It's always about his needs. Where's his mom?"

"I thought you said she abandoned him?" Jess questions.

"Well, she should come back and get her son. I'm pampering a thirty-one-year-old man. How does that make sense?" I furrow my brows lifting my hands. "I should be pampered I'm twenty."

"Iman, he's on tour... for a year," Jess says trying to make me understand.

"I know." I groan with annoyance. "It's just annoying having to constantly spend my time trying to reassure him that I'm still his and I love him."

"He's insecure and vulnerable right now. Remember your guy's relationship is still a secret. He's probably scared that you're going to leave him."

"And I keep telling him I'm not going to!" I raise my voice.

The limo comes to a stop in front of my house. I grind my teeth together and rub my face.

"Iman-"

"Look Jess I don't wanna hear another he's probably this and probably that. It's frustrating. I'm not gonna leave him."

The chauffeur opens the door and Jess climbs out first.

"Uh, who's that?" She asks.

I climb out and see Kelly getting out of his car and walking over towards us.

Ugh great... another problem.

"Hey, I uh... called to say I was coming over wanted to know if you wanted to grab some lunch?" Kelly asks.

We both stand there in silence. Jess looks at me with a big grin on her face and I try to keep my composure.

"Hi, I'm Jess, and you are?" She says holding her hand out.

"Kelly Nickels." He smiles and shakes her hand.

"You're in a rock band?" She asks.

"Yeah, LA Guns." He says cheerfully.

"So... how long have you and Iman-"

"Jess, seriously," I grumbled looking at her.

"I'm just trying to get to know Mr. Nickels." She laughs humorously.
