May 1986,

New York

Tamara came down hard on me for coming back late. She said if it ever happened again, she would shave my hair off in the middle of the night. I do not believe she would do that but who knows?

I was heading to New York for the filming of season 3 of my TV series. Plus, I checked my schedule and I had a couple of photo shoots and events that I was going to have to attend. I called Nikki to let him know all of this. But he already knew that I was going. I am going to get to the bottom of how he knows all this information about me. Anyway, he told me to call him whenever I was able to and he could not wait till I got back. He is so sweet.

We finally landed meaning me and Jess. Yes, she is here with me. We were going to be in New York until July. We got to the hotel and I called Nikki right away to let him know that I arrived. He was excited to hear from me. I had to end the conversation though because I had a photo shoot today with ELLE magazine.

I heard a knock on my door and went to answer it. "Hey." I greeted Jess and moved to the side so she could come in.

"Hey, you ready to go?" She asked looking at her watch.

"Yup," I said excitedly.

We headed out the door and got into the limo. I took a bit of a nap seeing as I didn't get any sleep when we landed. When we got to the photo shoot, I greeted everyone and went to try on my outfit for the shoot. I was to be wearing a grey, white, and black tracksuit. It was cute. I came out ready to start posing and taking pictures.

"Alright, Miss Darlington let's get to work." The photographer says while clapping his hands and shouting. "Beautiful sweety just beautiful." He cooed. "Yes, now turn your head to the side and tilt it back a bit." He directed. 5 more shots and I was finally finished. I changed out of my outfit and headed out the door with Lisa. We got back to the hotel and I was exhausted. Tomorrow I had to film and I was looking forward to it. I loved the people I worked with they were a great time and very funny.

A few weeks later...

Me and Jess decided to go shopping and grab some food while we were out.

"This burger is delicious and so are these fries." She says stuffing her mouth with food.

"No need to rub it in my face." I rolled my eyes. I was on a diet and it was the worst.

"Oh, I'm sorry hun but at the same time...I'm not." She chuckled. "So, I want to ask you a question but please don't jump down my throat when I do." She held her hands up in defense.

"It depends on what it is." I furrowed my brows.

"Ok. Remember that time when we were in the limo and you were sulking. And I guessed it was because of a guy?" She paused. "Was that because of Nikki?"

I tensed up a bit when she asked that. "Yes, it was," I mumbled. "But we were friends...well are friends. Our friendship is just complicated." I sighed.
