As I sat across from Nikki, I couldn't help but smile at his infectious excitement. "Nikki, you're practically buzzing with the anticipation for the release of Generation Swine. I don't think I've ever seen you this hyped about an album before."

Nikki grinned, his passion for music radiating from every pore. "You have no idea how long we've been working on this album. Generation Swine is more than just music to me. Now obviously it's not done yet. We've done ten songs already and just need four more to be mixed. But still, it's gonna be kick-ass. We only have one slow song called Confessions. Tommy wrote it. It might be a single. We're not sure yet."

I reached out to take his hand, feeling a surge of pride for him. "I admire your dedication. It's inspiring to see how much you pour into your craft."

He squeezed my hand affectionately, his gaze softening. "Thanks, babe. Your support means everything to me. I couldn't do what I do without you by my side."

As we sat in comfortable silence, the weight of his words hung in the air, reminding me of the depth of our connection. Nikki and I had been through our fair share of ups and downs, but through it all, our love remained steadfast, anchoring us in moments like these.

Breaking the silence, his excitement bubbled over once again. "You have to hear some of the tracks we've been working on. The energy and the intensity are unlike anything we've ever done before. Plus, I sing lead vocals on one of the songs!"

"Oh yeah?" I raised my brows.

"You'll like it. Actually, when you hear it, you'll never wanna stop listening to it."

"I'd love to hear them."

With a grin, he got up and ran out of the living room making his way downstairs to his studio. When he came back up, he was holding onto a compact disc with a black CD player. Moments later, the room was filled with the electrifying sounds of Motley Crue, each note pulsating with energy and emotion.

I felt the hairs on my body stick up as a certain song came up. I turned to look at him. He had gooey eyes and a lovesick smile on his face. It was Rocket Ship. He sang that song to me the first time we kissed. It was my first kiss. I gave him the same lovesick smile back.

As the music washed over us, I felt myself getting swept up in the rhythm, losing myself in the melodies. In that moment, it wasn't just about the music or the song it was about the shared experience, the connection between us, and a genuine love for each other.

As the final chords faded away, he looked at me with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. "Well, what do you think?"

I smiled, feeling a surge of emotion welling up inside me. "That was incredible. Your voice is beautiful. "

"You think so?"

"Yeah, I do."

"You know I... I put a lot of emotion into a rocket ship. That song..." he looked down fumbling with his hands. ".... it's only for you."

"Damn right, it better only be for me."

We both chuckled and stared at each other.

"Generation Swine is going to be a masterpiece."

Relief washed over his features, replaced by a sense of pride and satisfaction. "Thank you, Mani. Your opinion means the world to me. Um..." He paused and looked down fiddling with his fingers again. "There's something I wanted to ask you... well, two things."

"Yeah shoot."

"Well first off Motley is going to be playing at Livestock. It's an annual two-day outdoor concert near Tampa Florida. We're going to be playing just a few songs because we're the headlining act on day one."
