At Darling Cosmetics...
In a recent interview, Donna D'errico spoke about marriage to Nikki Sixx and the reasons for its eventual collapse.
I sighed and sat down biting my nail polish off as I watched the repeat of this story that had been going on for days. Maybe even weeks. I couldn't tell because I was always watching it.
"The relationship wasn't Nikki, Ryan, and I. The relationship was between the three of us and someone else. And I want to make things clear that someone else is not to blame. It was all Nikki. He couldn't just stop thinking about the past and be in the present with me and Ryan."
Donna goes on to talk about how the way Nikki made her feel.
"He was emotionally cheating on me. And what's worse is that he started spreading lies about me. That made for a good story. He kept trying to make me look bad in front of all his friends and telling others I was to blame for our marriage failing. But that wasn't true. Nikki was always making up stories about me that were outrageous. And I felt that I had to rebut each one. It became scary to see how he defined me with his stories."
Donna then has a message for any woman who wants to date Nikki Sixx.
"He is very good at manipulation and using words to his advantage. Whoever he dates next should be cautious. And she should look out for herself."

I turn to see Theresa standing above me.
"Why are you watching that?" She placed the remote down on the table.
I shrugged and sighed. "It's been all over the news since their divorce was finalized."
"Okay and..."
"Well just... people are talking about who the fourth person is and it's giving me anxiety about what people are saying-"
"Iman..." She rubbed her forehead and then sat across from me. "... Self-care."
"I know but-"
"But nothing. You need to stop listening to what people are saying. People can be cruel. And if you keep listening and allowing all this negative talk to get into your head it will ruin your mental health. You're in a good place right now. Don't let this woman or anyone else make you doubt yourself, your life, or your relationship."
"What am I going to do without you?"
"Honestly, I have no idea." She joked.
We both laughed.
Me and Nikki agreed with my mom that it would be best for us not to go public until the divorce had been finalized. And it's a good thing we did. We took the time to know each other again. And we have both matured and wanted to make sure that this relationship wouldn't be toxic like it was in the past.
"So, how's Nikki getting along with your family?"
"He's doing great." I stood up and gathered the papers I had in my hands and gently tapped them on the desk to straighten them out. "It started rough but we're getting there."
"I'm glad he's good with your family."
"The only thing is..." I say as I pull the hole puncher and place the papers neatly inside it. "... I don't want to go into our relationship having secrets."
She looked at me wide-eyed. "Secrets?"
I nodded placing the papers in a binder and closing it up.
"What Secrets?"
