When Peter first heard of the winter soldier he was afraid, the man had so many assassination reports and now suddenly he's here with them and apparently Steve knows him. Peter was told by Tony to stay away from Bucky, which he gladly did so, he was still scared of him. So you can't blame Peter for being a bit nervous when he had to sit in the same quinjet as Bucky for 2 hours.
By the time they finally made it to the destination Peter had already forgotten why they where there, he only remembers being told that this has to do with the winter soldier and that the whole team had to go. They made their way to an underground bunker where there were dead people in tube things? There was also a guy talking but Peter was pretty occupied with the dead people thing to worry about that till his name was mentioned.
He looked away from the tube and looked at his team they were huddled around a small computer screen, he quickly made his way over and watched with the others, the recording was old and it was filming the inside of a plane, there were two people inside.
Peter glared at the screen "those...those are my parents." Tony glanced at him with a worried look and back at the screen. For a few minutes nothing was happening and the couple were just sitting there till the door to the pilots were slammed open and Peter's heart sunk.
The man was huge and carrying a gun that aimed right as his mother but his father hit the man with something causing him to move the gun away from her and to Peter's father who was immediately shot, Peter gasped his hands shaking, he felt Tony put his arm around him. The man then walked over to his mother grabbing her by her throat and killing her instantly. She fell the ground and finally the man walked over to the security camera and looked right at it and all Peter felt was rage.
The winter soldier was the one who killed his parents and he just had to watch that all. Peter's eyes were glued to the screen tears already falling down his face. The team looked at each other and Bucky wondering what to do. Then Peter finally spoke looking straight at Bucky.
"I was told, that my parents died in a plane crash."
Bucky stared him not knowing what to do "kid-"
"No. You" he shrugged Tonys arm off of his shoulders "killed my parents." He walked closer and he heard Tony talking to him but he couldn't make out any of the words all he could see and hear was Bucky.
For the first time in years, Peter actually wanted to kill somebody.
He sent a punch right to Buckys fave sending him flying back into the rails near the chair in the middle of the room. Bucky stood up but Peter already kicked him down. Bucky didn't want to fight him, he didn't want to lay a hand on this kid.
The other Avengers tried to get Peter, but he landed a few more punches to Bucky who just took it, he refused to fight Peter. Peter found his hand on Buckys throat closing his airways, slowly killing him, just like how his mother died. Before Peter even got the chance to kill him he felt arms wrap around his middle and pull him away, it was Steve. Peter yelled and tried to push the arms away.
"LET ME GO!" Steve held on tighter and Peter struggled more, then the reality of the situation hit Peter, he watched his parents die, he was lied too. His words fell into sobs and he stopped fighting back and next thing he knew he was in Tonys arms being led back to the quinjet.
