So, there's this trend on tiktok where girls/guys tell their boyfriends/fiance/husband/brother any guy they know "you look like you can't swim" and they ALL get defensive about it, it's really funny and it inspired me to write this except its a cute version lol.

MJ sat down on the couch across from Peter, her phone was hidden and recording him for his reaction. He was busy doing homework for one of his classes when she finally caught his attention.
"Babe" Peter looked up and smiled at MJ "yeah?"
MJ tried not to immediately laugh "you look like you can't swim.."
Peter stared at her, a look of confusion took over his face while he was lost in thought. "Really? Personally I think I look like I can't do the monkey bars at play grounds, I mean I did them once when I was 12 but they weren't really fun, other kids would do it and their hands would be all gross so that made me not want to do it but I wanted to try it so I did, but it wasn't really interesting so then I never did them. Now that I think about it I don't go swimming that often"
Peter continued rambling about swimming to pools to chemicals and finally to science. MJ listend trying her best to not laugh at how cute he was being, she loved it when Peter would ramble on about something to her. It could be anything and she would sit and listen for hours. She found it extremely cute when he would get excited about the things he was talking about, she loved the way his eyes would light up or how his nose would scrunch up when he was thinking of something, or his goofy smile when he managed to make her laugh.
MJ was pulled out of her thoughts when Peter said her name "MJ, I think its reasonable to look at me and think 'pffft that guy can't swim' I get it ya know, but I think I can swim pretty ok I guess, I mean, I'm not the best swimmer but if I had to swim I guess I could keep myself from almost drowning" he shrugged and smiled at her and went back to his homework.
MJ laughed a bit "You're such a dork"
The teasing nickname caused the boy's face to redden and he smiled wider while he wrote on his assignments.
MJ stopped recording and smiled to herself, if she were being honest, she was extremely glad Peter didn't react like the other guys she's seen react. She's glad he didn't get offended or yelled. God she loved that loser so much.
