Tony sat peacefully in the compound living room, the rest of the Avengers minus Thor who was off world and Bruce who was in his lab, were training in the gym. Tony had opted out since he had Peter this weekend and he wanted to get caught up in SI work until Peter woke up.
It was quiet till he heard a scream. Peter's scream. He jumped up from the couch carelessly throwing papers off him. His watch on his wrist transformed into a gauntlet ready to defend his kid. Every horrible situation was playing through his head and it got worse when he heard a panicked Peter yell 'Mr. Stark!'
Tony burst through Peter's bedroom door and saw him standing outside the bathroom door. He ran over to his kid.
"Kid what's wrong?! What happened?!"
Before Peter spoke Tony turned to look at the bathroom door, it was closed and there were towels covering the bottom of the door frame. He turned back to the kid and Peter finally answered.
"I got up and I went to go to the bathroom and I opened the door and there was like, a giant spider on the counter! Its like, huge! So I freaked out! But then I remembered it could crawl under the door, so I"
Tony held his hand up to stop the kid, he sighed and looked to the door and back to Peter. "There's a spider in there?" Peter nodded.
Tony sighed "Peter, you're literally Spider-Man.."
Peter fidgeted with his hands "I know! But last time I went near a spider, I literally woke up with super powers Mr. Stark. And plus! They're gross."
Tony chuckled at his kid. Of course for all the things he'd be afraid of, spiders would be one of them. "Fine, I'll go in there and take care of it."
Tony walked over to the door and Peter took a large amount of steps back. Tony slowly opened the door and peeked inside. He looked around and slammed the door shut and backed away.
"Nope. Thats huge. We're getting Steve I'm not going near it."
They called Steve up and he successfully took care of the spider, of course not without teasing both of them of course. Instead of killing it, Steve opted out to take it outside so it could leave, Tony protested the idea explaining that if it found a way in it could do it again, but once Peter agreed with Steve and pleaded Tony couldn't say no to the him. So they let the spider out and continued on with their days.
