I'm ready to die.

Based on the scene in The Deathly Hallows part 2 where Harry See's his family. (Also im just gonna use the same name for the stone sorry://) it's going to be very similar to the scene btw also mentions of next gen Avengers!

Peter knew it was going to be his last fight, he knew he was going to die. He was working with Strange to help take down another space demon of some sorts, it was another mission related to stones, nothing like Thanos though. He was given the task to retrieve the resurrection stone, it was kept in a case.

Peter's bloody and bruised hands shook while he held it, he stared at and looked at every detail of the case. He knew he had to sacrifice himself, he had told Shuri and Harley of his plan, his two teammates had obviously tried to talk him out of it, tried to get him to talk to Strange and come up with a new plan but Peter refused. He knew what he had to do.

So now he was standing on the outskirts of New York, quiet chaos surrounded him, wrecked cars and buildings and fire everywhere but there was no one there. He looked down at the case and whispered to himself.

"I'm ready to die." He pushed down lightly on the golden case and it split open revealing the stone. The stone slowly floated upwards and Peter placed his hand under it and grabbed it.

He closed his eyes and his senses warned him but not of danger but that someone was there. He quickly opened his eyes and looked around him, there were faint bodies of light surrounding him, four bodies of light.

His vision cleared and he recognized all of them. Mary, Richard, Ben, and Tony. His family. His family that's dead, that shouldn't be here in front of him but they are here. They're here smiling at him but he can see the sadness in their eyes.

Mary motioned for Peter to come over to her which he did, she placed her hands on his cheeks and stared at his face "you've been so brave sweetheart."

Richard smiled at his son and placed his hand on Peter's shoulder "we're so proud of you Pete"

They let go of their son and Peter turned to face Ben and Tony. Tony stared at Peter and looked him over has he stood there in his damaged Spidey suit.

He slowly walked towards him and hugged him tightly "Hey kid" Peter hugged him back trying to keep tears from falling. Once the two let go of each other, peter looked away and faced his uncle.

Peter hugged him as well but backed away from all four of them "why- why are you all here?"

Ben finally spoke for them all "we never left."

Peter glanced at his family before staring at the stone in his hand "does it hurt? Dying?"

Richard looked at his son, a pained smile took over his features. He didn't want his son to die "quicker then falling asleep."

Mary lifted Peter's chin to look at her and away from the stone "You're nearly there, son"

Finally the tears came, they rolled down Peter's dirty face while he looked away from his mother "I'm sorry, I never wanted any of you to die...It's like a-"

Tony finished his sentence "a curse?" Peter nodded, he laughed a bit at the ridiculousness of it "the famous Parker luck.."

Tony shook his head and held Peter in his arms again "it's not your fault"

Ben nodded placing his hand in Peter's curly hair "it never was your fault" Peter nodded, not trusting his voice to speak knowing he was on the edge of breaking down into sobs, he didn't have time for that.

Peter looked at them all and back at the stone once more "you'll stay with me, right?"

Ben smiled "till the end."

Peter looked up "and they all won't be able to see you?"

Richard shook his hand and pointed to Peter's chest, his heart. "No we're here"

Peter nodded and looked at his father, Richard smiled at his son and ruffled his hair before stepping back by his wife. Peter's eyes met with his mother's "stay close to me."

Mary smiled and nodded "Always."

Peter smiled taking one last look at all of them and then started walking further to his destination where he'd make his sacrifice.

Doctor Strange was notified of what Peter was about to do, but he knew, he had already looked through the different outcomes of this, this was the only way they could win. It reminded him so much of Tony, how it was unavoidable. So when they found Peter's body it wasn't a surprise, it still hurt but it wasn't a surprise at all.

Harley had found him, near the outskirts of New York, he carried him back as well. Peter had made the ultimate sacrifice and they had won.

This was just random but I really wanted to write something with Peter seeing his family again so here it is:) I'm also doing ANOTHER watch fic but this time its spiderman ffh but I think it's better lol check it out if you'd like <3
