The parents chat Boss#2: has Peter talked about MJ with u at all?
Irondad: oh only about 100 times "Mr. Stark she's so beautiful but that's not the only thing about her"
Boss#2: "May she's literally so smart and amazing"
Irondad: "Mr.Stark! She texted me ohmygod what do I do?!"
Boss#2: "May should I ask her out? No nevermind"
Boss#1: you guys are so mean omg lol
Irondad: pep she's literally all he talks about, it's either dogs, star wars, space, or MJ
Boss#2: exactly, he'll ask me 20 times a day if he should tell her but then he decides for himself and it's always no
Boss#1: oh yeah ik, he comes to me too he claims "she's way out of my league pep, I think she only wants to be friends"
Irondad: wtf
Boss#2: I love our kid BUT HE'S SO OBLIVIOUS
Irondad: IKR when Ned and MJ come to the tower to hang out you CAN TELL SHE LIKES HIM TOO
Boss#1: exactly have you seen the way she looks at him
Boss#2: it's so cute omg

Irondad: even I see it like wow he is so oblivious, should we tell him?
Boss#2: TONY NO
Boss#1: he has to figure it out by himself
Irondad: UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH
Irondad: what iiifff we just push him a little bit to ask her out, ya know?
Boss#2: I mean that doesn't sound like a bad idea..
Boss#1: yeah I think that's a good idea
Irondad: ok good so the plan is, whenever Peter starts gushing about MJ try and convince him to at least try and ask her out -------------------------------------------------------------- Peter walked into the living room in the small apartment, he dropped his bag by the couch and plopped down next to May with a sigh. May slightly smiled and closed the book she was reading "what's wrong baby?"
Peter looked over at May before he sighed again "I just, really like MJ, I really wanna ask her out but I don't wanna risk anything, what if she just wants to be friends? And what if I ruin our friendship?"
May sighed and placed a comforting hand on his knee "but what if she does like you? You'll never know if you don't try"
Peter stared at May before looking away "I guess I'll think about it.." May smiled at him before Peter left and went to his room. -------------------------------------------------------------- Peter was helping out Pepper with paper work and moving things into different offices, whenever Peter was at the tower he usually stayed with Tony and worked with him, but once Peter was introduced to Pepper she immediately loved him like a son. That lead to them having days where Peter would help Pepper with SI stuff.
So when they were on break Peter was the first to speak "Pepper?"
Pepper placed her phone down and gave all her attention to Peter "yes honey?"
He started fidgeting with the hem of his shirt "so um, I really like MJ and I really wanna ask her out but I, I don't know. What if she rejects me and doesn't wanna be friends anymore?"
He looked at her pleading for an answer. The two sat in a short silence while Pepper thought of an answer "well Peter, you'll never know if you don't ask her, she could possibly like you back"
Peter groaned "May said the same thing!" Pepper smiled and laughed "well that gives you more of a reason to ask her"
Confusion took over Peters face "how?"
Pepper smiled and stood up "because May and I are always right" she then left the office to retrieve some files while Peter sat there in thought. -------------------------------------------------------------- Peter walked into the lab where Tony was working, it was obvious to Tony that Peter wanted to talk so he quickly put his tools down.
"Mr. Stark."
Tony looked up at Peter "yeah, Petey?"
Peter sat down in the chair next to him "So you know how I like MJ, right?" Tony nodded because he did indeed know that Peter liked MJ, she was all he talked about.
"Pepper and May both said I should just ask her out but I don't know-"
Tony quickly interrupted him almost jumping out of his seat "do it."
It took a minute for Peter to process what Tony had just said to him before he could actually speak "wh- what?"
Tony leaned back and crossed his arms "just ask her out, ya know. I think you should just do it"
Peter stared at Tony for a bit before nodding at Tonys 'advice'. --------------------------------------------------------------
The parents chat Irondad: ok so we all told Peter the same thing right?
Boss#2: yep :)
Boss#1: yes!
Irondad: ok, let's all just hope everything goes well then -------------------------------------------------------------- The three adults decided since Peter was hanging out with his friends that they would also have a night together and have a break.
Whenever the three hung out, they would usually just have take-out and watch movies while they talked.
It was quiet until Peter ran through the open elevator and right infront of the TV.
"SHE SAID YES"
May and Pepper stood up along with Tony and Tony was the first to speak "WHAT?!"
Peter threw his arms into the air staring at the three adults "MJ SAID YES WHEN I ASKED HER OUT" May and Pepper jumped around yelling inaudible words of excitement while they hugged Peter. Tony high fived Peter after saying a quick 'I-told-you-so'
Later in the week Peter and MJ went on their first date. -------------------------------------------------------------- Boss#2: guys I'm gonna cry i just dropped Peter off for his first date with MJ and look how cute they are:
