Pepper's Spiderboy

Both Pepper and Peter knew Tony was having a rough week, so the pair decided to help each other and let Tony rest. While they did that Tony realized something, he realized how motherly Pepper was to the kid and that gave him a warm feeling in his chest.

Today was the day Peter was supposed to head to the tower, Tony was busy with meetings and stuff but he didn't mind, that meant Peter got to spend time with Pepper!

He absolutely loved spending time with Tony and all but he also liked spending time with Pepper as well, yeah they didn't do work in the lab but he got to help out with SI stuff or hear funny stories about Tony, of course Pepper kept them all family friendly when she told them.

So there sat Peter in his last class of the day anxiously waiting for the bell to ring so he could finally leave, once it did he was the first one out of the classroom. He made it to his locker, gathered his things and made his way out of the building, but of course something had to get in the way and that something was Flash Thompson and Flashs friends. Great.

"Hey Parker." Flash wrapped an arm around Peter's shoulders and if Peter had 0 self control he would have punched Flash right in the face by now.

Peter rolled his eyes "what do you want Flash?" His voice was stern and he gripped his backpack straps while he waited for either a response or a punch in the face.

Flash looked down at Peter a fake look of shock on his face "that's no way to speak to one of your friends is it, Pete?"

Peter tried to shrug Flashs arm off his shoulder but 'failed' to since he realized that Flash had a tight grip on him. One thing that sucked about having these powers is that he basically changed over night, if he was the weak nerd before he had to stay that weak nerd to not cause suspension, if Peter couldn't fight back in the past he couldn't now.

"You're not my friend Flash."

Flash smirked "well Parker, I tried to play nice but now you're getting on my nerves." Flash pushed Peter back into two of his friends who grabbed his arms and held them behind his back, then Flash came up and punched Peter in the stomach repeatedly then finally right in the face under his eye.

Flashs friends threw Peter to the ground, laughing as they walked away. Peter had to admit that those punches did hurt, especially the one to his face. He could already feel a massive brusie forming under his eye.

Peter stood up wiping the dirt off his jeans and continued walking till he saw Happy’s car in the distance, he quickly climbed in and shut the door. Happy glanced back at the kid a look of concern showing.

"You alright, kid?" Peter nodded in response not wanting to say anything, because in all honesty he was a terrible liar.

So Happy drove in silence till they made it to the tower and used the elevator to get to the private floor. Peter walked in and smiled when he saw Pepper.

"Hi Miss Potts"

Pepper smiled "hello Pete and remember, call me Pepper-" she looked up to see him and saw the brusie on his cheek and went full on mother mode. She quickly stood up making her way to Peter and cupping his face in her hands so she could check out the brusie.

"Oh Peter honey, what happened?!"

Peter shrugged "it was just an accident..nothing bad happened!"

Happy scoffed from behind them "was it that Flash kid again? I bet it was"

Pepper frowned and finally let go of Peter's face and guided him to the kitchen where she could get an ice pack from.
