Tony had all three of the science kids today. Peter, Harley, and Shuri. The three were a nightmare to watch over but once they were focused and working it was the quietest it has been all day.
All the other Avengers minus Bucky and Tony, obviously, were on a mission, they needed T'Challa on that mission as well so Shuri ended up coming to the tower since Peter and Harley are her friends and the kids wanted to see each other. For half the day they'd yell about something called vines, not the plant, Tony reminded himself he had gotten 'roasted' when he asked why they were talking about plants.
They talked a lot about internet things the two older men didn't understand very well. The group of kids would burst out laughing after one of them had said something that made absolutely no sense to Tony. So he just left them alone to do their thing, until he had to run back in because F.R.I.D.A.Y warned him the Shuri had dared Peter to go out the window and stick to the wall and of course he said he'd do it.
So now all of them, except for Bucky who was in his room, where now in Tony's lab. Before he could even enjoy the peace and quiet the three teens started giggling over something again. Nothing had even happened yet but Tony already felt even more tired, because he knew they're either gonna start:
1) yelling 2) making a mess Or 3) break out in a fit of laughter for 5 minutes.
Why did Tony have to babysit, why couldn't Clint have done it? He's way better with kids he could handle three, Tony couldn't, he could only handle one, maybe two, but three teenagers? Out of the question. But here he was, watching three teenagers in the lab around a bunch of dangerous tools. -------------------------------------------------------------- One thing Peter and Harley do all the time is fight, Nothing serious just a bit of bickering here and there, sometimes it was fun other times it was just to annoy one another. Sometimes they'd just argue to annoy the Avengers because they thought it was funny, so did Shuri, she thought it was hilarious.
So when Harley and Peter began to fake argue Shuri was giggling like crazy. They know how easy it is to annoy Tony and they thought it was funny to push the mans buttons, but not too far because they still loved him. -------------------------------------------------------------- When Tony turned to look at the three teens he groaned quietly, Harley and Peter were arguing and Shuri was next to them laughing. It was still kind of quiet till Harley yelled.
"You say my daughter looks miserable, so maybe we should put Kehlani in her place!"
Tony stood there staring at them, what the fuck, what daughter? Who's Kehlani?
Peter placed his hands on his hips turning to Halrey "no, I never said that."
Shuri began laughing harder and without anyone knowing Bucky was standing in the doorway watching what was happening.
Harley stepped closer to Peter before pointing at him "yes, you most certainly did!"
Peter started putting his finger in Harley's face more aggressively while he yelled "No, I didn't, DiNgBaT, lisTEN I said "broOKE, is your mother-"
Harley lightly smacked Peter's hand out of his face "gEt yOuR fInGeR oUt Of mY fAcEE!"
Shuri was laughing so hard she had to lean against the workspace, once Peter and Halrey started fake fistfighting Shuri began to yell between her fits of laughter "GIRLS OUT OF THE ROOM, GIRLS OUT OF THE ROOM"
Tony turned to see bucky before he mouthed something "I'm done, I can't do it anymore"
Bucky chuckled and looked at the teens "are you guys quoting dance moms?" -------------------------------------------------------------- This was so fun to write you guys omg
