Far behind the mansion was stables. Stables with a horse. Good god the smell. This is violating my nose. It's worse because I can smell a hundred times better.
The horse seemed to get excited when Indra walked in. He jumped up and down in his stable. He opened a stable and a dark brown horse walked out. He hugged his head.
"This is Benny." Indra introduced us with a smile.
Benny jerked and moved away when he saw me.
Yeah aren't animals afraid us vampires?
"Easy you two." Indra pat Benny. I wasn't doing anything.
He came over to me and grabbed my wrist. He pulled me closer to Benny and put my hand on his neck. Benny calmed down and let me rub him. Indra smiled.
His eyes glowed purple again and he looked at Benny. Are they talking? Benny seemed to respond with his body language.
"Do you want to go for a ride?" He asked me.
"Never been on a horse before." I stated.
Indra pat my shoulder and went into Benny's stable. He brought out reins and a saddle.
"Been a while for me too." Indra started. "It'll be fun."
"Okay. I'll go with you."
Indra led Benny out into the field after he was all saddled up. Indra climbed on and offered me his hand. I took it and he pulled me onto Benny's back behind him.
I held on to his waist. "Don't go fast Indra."
"As you wish." Indra said.
The horse started walking.
We walked to the edge of the estate and walked along the long fence. This place is huge. Maybe a few acres.
"You can speed up if you want." I said.
Indra cheered to himself. He's so cute. Benny sped up and ran a little.
I tightened my grip on Indra. I keep feeling like I'm gonna bounce off. After a while Indra stopped in the middle of the field.
"Do you want to try?" He asked.
"Sure."
Indra climbed down and I scooted forward and grabbed the reins.
Benny instantly started whining and jumping. I screamed.
"No!"
I jerked up and down.
"Don't panic." Indra said trying to calm us down.
"I didn't do anything!" I yelled.
Benny wouldn't calm down.
"Indra." I called.
He threw me and the grass was getting closer. I shut my eye.
When I opened it again I was staring a Indra and Renata as they leaned over me. We were inside the house, I was on the couch.
Renata sighed with relief.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Have you ever seen Gone With the Wind?" Indra asked as he helped me sit up.
"No." I answered.
"Well there's this character, Bonnie. She was riding a horse one day and she fell and broke her neck."
"Oh... What does that have to do with me?" I looked at him. Renata put her hand to her head.
"You're Bonnie." Indra said.
