And I thought meeting Indra was strange.
I sobbed and whined.
"It's okay." Indra soothed.
We sat in the sheets of his bed, naked and sitting on each other.
"No, I don't wanna leave."
"It's time." Indra held my face and kissed me. "It's been weeks. Your parents will kill me if I don't get you back."
I rubbed his shoulders. "You can't die."
"It's a figure of speech."
He kissed me again. "Let's get dressed and packed."
I whined again. He slid out from under me and got off the bed. I watched him get dressed.
"Come on." He said.
I got up and got dressed.
"I can take care of everything else. You just get packed." He told me.
I nodded. Saving grace of going home, I can finally meet Amber.
When I was packed and downstairs I saw that everything was clean and as it was when we first arrived.
"Hey." Indra said as he passed me and took my bags. He put everything in the car.
Once we left I held his hand while he drove. I looked back at the villa as we left.
It was very late when we got back home. Of course I was tired.
I put my keys in the door.
"Hey pretty boy." Indra called from behind. I turned to him.
"Love you." He said.
I smiled. "I love you too."
I went inside quietly and went upstairs. I changed into pajamas and went to sleep.
"You're home." Alexandria squeaked as she climbed on to my bed in the morning.
"Hey." I rubbed her little cheek and she laid down beside me. She cuddled my hand.
"Is Mommy or Daddy up?" I asked her.
"Mommy's cooking."
"Okay." I closed my eye.
I know Mama's found Amber. Now we just need to figure out how we're meeting. Here or there? I want to ask Mom and Brian if they can come over. Or maybe I'll go to Louisiana. Whichever as long as I get to meet her. I think Ezra went with Mama to Louisiana. I can't remember. Maybe he can come here and meet Mom and Brian. I think them coming here would be best.
"I have to get up." I told Alexandria.
She whined and let me go. I got out of the bed and went downstairs. Like Alexandria said; Mom was in the kitchen cooking.
"Good morning." I greeted her.
She looked up, "hi Luc! Welcome back. How was Italy?" She asked.
"Italy was fine. Beautiful." I wasn't about to tell her everything so I changed the subject.
"You know, Mama found Amber." I told her.
"Lucy mentioned it." Mom said curtly. She moved her arms as she stirred the contents of her bowl.
"So I was wondering, if they could come here with Amber." I said.
"I'd imagine they'd be staying for a couple days." Mom said. I moved in agreement. "Luc, we don't have the space for that many people anymore. Mari and Nick take up the rest of the space."
