Luc doesn't smile anymore. Not genuinely. He doesn't laugh.

I sighed.

"Shut up." He complained. Today everything gets on his nerves.

"Luc why don't you start telling me what you went through?"

"Why would I do that?" He sat up slowly and looked at me.

We sat in the living room. He sat on the sofa. I sat in the chair diagonal of him.

"Because it can help you." I answered. Luc stared at the coffee table. He doesn't seem all there right now.

"Please?" I tried to bring him back to the moment.

He shook his head, "no."

I closed my eyes briefly. We'll get there.

For now I just went into the study and sat down with a book.

A while later I heard a piano playing. I don't have a piano.

I closed the book I was reading and followed the music. It was coming from the living room. When I entered all the furniture was rearranged and a grand piano was sitting in the middle of the room. Luc sat at the keys.

He played beautifully. It was a playful, yet somber tune. I do not recognize it.

"You know how to play the piano?" I asked.

He looked at me, "I know how to do a lot of things."

He looked back to the piano keys.

"Okay... then what's this song? I don't recognize it." I said.

"That's because it's mine." He answered.

I looked at him, impressed. "Wow." I said.

"What's the name?" I asked.

"It doesn't have one." He answered. I believe it should. I left it alone though.

That night I decided to sleep. How I missed Kai. I miss how he'd sleep on my chest, listening to my heartbeat.

My eyes opened. I smell blood. My neck hurts... I tried to move, but a weight kept me in place. I gasped, and yelled from the pain. A hand grabbed my cheek.

My attacker sat up, letting out a moaning exhale.

"Luc!" I screeched. I dove for the lamp and turned it on. Luc licked his lips.

"What? I wanted blood." Was his excuse.

"There's blood downstairs." I rubbed my bloody, aching neck.

"I wanted your blood." He said.

I sighed.

"Luc." I groaned. I looked at my pillow. It was wet and red.

"Fine. I'll leave." He said. He got up and walked out.

I flopped down onto my back and sighed.

"Luc? Can we talk about last night?" I asked when I sat on the coffee table. The piano was gone and the furniture was in its proper place.

"Hm." Was all he said.

"You could've asked." I would've given it to him. I...like it when he bites me.

Luc's eyes flicked. He soon looked away. I shook my head and left. It seems he needs more time.

"Damn it!" I yelled when I began to cook Luc lunch. I sighed and calmed down. I turned off the stove and poured the food into the trash.

Luc came into the kitchen and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. He looked at the floor emptily.

"Will you be okay?" I asked.
