you sat patiently at the kitchen island,
spinning the chair in half circles from left
and right as you and the other 3 boys waited
for suzume to come back with sakusa.

tonight was one of those nights you didn't
want to be alone and as you became much
more comfortable with the boys, you found
the courage to ask the group chat if you could
come over for dinner.

osamu was the first to say yes and then suna
and atsumu both encouraged the plan, going
out of their way to also spam mention suzume
so she'd come by.

"how was your day so far,
y/n?"

you laughed at his attempt to engage in
small talk, clearly bored as you all waited.

"pretty good actually."

"no work for me today so i
did my homework."

miya osamu
"yer homework is tsumu's
isn't it?"

suna laughed.

"why haven't i been seeing you
do your shit atsumu?"

atsumu scoffed, flipping suna off before he
turned away in his seat.

"man shut up!"

"i do them right away at
school ya know!"

"oooh we got a star student
here, huh?"

the other boys laughed.

"i'm really trying to boost
my gpa here, y/n."

atsumu stuck his tongue out at you.

"plus, it's kinda nice to do
homework at school y'know?"

miya osamu
"where do ya go? engineering?"

atsumu grinned and nodded.

"yuup!"

"kines is too loud so i usually
go to engineering."

miya atsumu
"it's much easier to take a nap
there anyway."

suna laughed.

"oh yeah for su—"

suna cut himself off and felt a cold shiver
down his spine at hearing suzume's voice.

she never yells like that, he told himself,
and he turned to face everyone else
properly.

"are they?"

atsumu was quick to get out of his chair
but you grabbed his arm, letting out a
small yelp as he accidentally pulled you
out of your seat.
